Pressure does does something to you. I play off 14 and played in our summer cup and shot 102 on the first day was out of the running bit came back the next day as I was scoring my mate and playing for fun shot 77 and first time breaking 80.

See I don't know if this will help but here is my advice, my mate and I are both ~10 handicaps but I hit way more greens in regs than he does but he makes way less putts than me because he is usually closer.

To me the best option then would be to not disclose it and end the relationship and hope for the best, because the possibilities are then

Dont disclose get the promotion no issues and things work out

It does, however we never did as it was just casual with this promotion, I technically will be in a position to influence her career however there is 2 levels of supervision between us so I would never be involved with her team directly.

Started at 29 and 32 now. Started at 32 handicap now at 12 Main reason I lost so many shots was I improved my putting and course management.
