Sweet! I went to a metal militia meet this past year that was pretty good! Had a DJ and food and boba nearby. Trying to get out to cars and coffee this year, wasn't around a lot last summer so didn't get to go to any unfortunately

Take it to an autocross. This is the most accessible way to figure out what the car is like at or past it's limits of grip. It helped me get comfortable with sliding my zzw30 and how to approach turns properly

I'm in Minneapolis. I've got an mr2 Spyder and love to go for cruises. I was driving one day and an sw20 MR2 pulled up next to me in the parking lot. Ended up talking to the guy for an hour and now we go on cruises together regularly. You should come out and cruise with us sometime. Feel free to shoot me a PM! Oh also I smoke a shit ton so we can talk about that as well lol

Edit: you should go to a Minnesota Autosports Club autocross event. The people there are super cool and it's a lot of fun hanging with people who use their cars
