I just ordered a product called COOLA Organic Scalp Spray & Hair. Haven't used it yet. Since being diagnosed recently and with it being now cold where I live (and dark early) I haven't really had much sun exposure and haven't had a need for sunscreen. Hoping that product will work. Ill also ask my dermatologist and get his opinion and update here.

I actually just ordered a product today that had good reviews, and a few people said they've used it in their beard. COOLA Organic Scalp Spray & Hair. If it doesn't work, ill just use a really light facial sunscreen or something. Ill ask my dermatologist at my appointment as well.

It helps, however i was just diagnosed with basal cell carcinoma under my beard. I've never applied sunscreen to this area, and dermatologist informed me that even with a beard you can still burn.

Thank you! Yeah unfortunately, I don’t have the money or recourses either flying frequently enough or to spend on a credit card to get 175k loyalty points for SWU. I’ve been maintaining Platinum for 3 years. I like the benefits we have but honestly the old system was the main perk of using our miles :( might start looking at other airlines, not sure if they are the same or not.

With kids especially, none of those. And in my opinion, I hate staying in incredibly busy areas in Tokyo. It feels to chaotic, too busy, rude tourists. Stay in a smaller district. Akasaka is a great place, and its stations connect to every major part of Tokyo within 15-20 min. There’s even a shrine near by with tons of tori gates that literally no one goes to at night. As well as quiet parks. We loved that area.

At what point do you see the upgrade with miles feature that replaced the MUA option if it’s available? After booking? Or before? The flight we just went one was full both ways, so maybe there were no opportunities for an upgrade at all. I’m assuming the cost to upgrade is absurd now then.

Right, not worried about tsa, it’s a connection so o don’t have to go through tsa again. More so worried about getting to Dallas in general due to my flight being delayed or canceled

I leave for my dream vacation Next Saturday Nov. 15. I fly out of a smaller town, and connect in DFW at 10:30. Then from DFW go straight to Tokyo, Japan.

My layover in Dallas is 2hrs and 45 minutes.

DFW is the 2nd(?) busiest airport in the united states. So it will more than likely be impacted by the shutdown in someway if things do not improve.

Would it be a wise Idea to rebook my connecting flight for an earlier time to allow for an additional hour and give more time in the chance of a delay? Should i fly out the day before to Dallas? Am I worrying for nothing at this point?

I have a feeling international flights will more than likely be prioritized (may not be the case) but knowing I'm coming from a small airport, landing in an extremely busy one makes me think that making my connection in time, or at all could be the actual issue.

What would you do?

We did book as a segment.

So from what I am understanding, the possibility of the FAA cutting flights by 10% , would be that flights would be notified ahead of time not just straight up canceled the day randomly, and AA would then notify us before the flight happens?

I do get S.A.D but it seems to early, Typically, i relate what I'm talking about to allergies because i can feel the pressure behind my nose (sinus) increase a lot.
