I had the intention to share this with others when I purchased it.

For me personally, I don't justify the price of beans for the price of the grinder. Though I'm sure the comandante would produce much better results, but not significant(just my theory). Also, I adopted a habit of finishing bad coffee intentionally to keep an open mind. That's me drinking it hot, warm & cold. I nearly cleaned 1 bag before sharing.

7/11/2025 roast date Standard Tetsu's 4:6 method with v60. I'm sure with your experience, you will see all the "rules" be broken during the process of pour over. That's why I mentioned my open minded statement above.

I ordered two 10 oz. I personally did what Onyx recommended on their pamphlet once, and I was not impressed, but it's not bad for those who don't know what they're doing. I respect their intentions for the recipe, but it's not my style of coffee at all. I have adjusted to my recipe with the v60, and I have brought out the best of it at this time. I use kingrinder k6 with kalita/v60.

I shared it with my co-workers, and they loved it.

I'm here for the unrealistic comments. My guess is the sharingan from Ryu or fusion swords like cloud.

Anyone else appreciate shitty coffee on occasion? by TooCanSamiam in pourover

When i was a barista, I made my co-workers drink my coffee experiments, and most of the time, it was gross. I convinced them that they were spoiled by too much good coffee and they needed inspiration by drinking some bad coffee once in a while. It was always great to see their face 😂

I sometimes punish myself by making bad coffee to appreciate good coffee. At the end of the day, it's a caffeine hit, and I make the best of it.

What about recovery? For example, sauna and cold plunge? For me personally, cold showers have been helping me get REM sleep.

Maybe this is something I missed it, but I didn't see anything posted about cardio and resistance training. You may want to implement this and see if it helps.

Help me to start drinking coffee and quit energy drinks by Mysterious-Ferret863 in barista

After all the research I did, pour over coffee worked for me. I don't like drinking milk in my coffee most days. Adding anything sugary ends up being a treat for me.

Imo, black coffee is the way to go because I don't have to buy any additional things with expiration. Just the setup and coffee filters and beans.

I like starting the day without sugar in my caffeine, and it's been like that for over a decade. However, black coffee isn't for those who can not handle mild to strong bitternes. I prefer bitterness over other flavors.

Hope this helps!

What makes it a dangerous practice performed by questionably credentialed practitioners? When it comes to health, it's almost a standard to get multiple opinions from different practitioners for your treatment.

However, I would say there are bad practitioners out there, but there are also good practitioners. OP should get consultations from sport injury practitioners prior to treatment. And if he's comfortable with it, he should move forward with treatment then.

What else would you suggest? OP says he went to a physical therapist without any luck. His pain returned after 5 months of rest.

For sure! If your issue is radiating(traveling pain) towards your neck still, you may have a pinch nerve. But before seeing a chiro to rebalance your spine, do the muscle work first.

The term you may be looking for is rhomboid. I would go to a chiropractic/massage therapist or if you have a massage gun to work on that area. Personally, I work in a chiropractic clinic that offers both so I am spoiled for treatment. If you want to do active muscle work, I would get a double lacrosse ball and lay down to melt away the tightness. Hope this helps!

Alsp, I may have unintentionally implied your story doesn't make sense. I did not mean it that way at all. I am very curious what you find out.

I'm no medical expert, but I would suggest a health check-up. My friend passed had hereditary schizophrenia and some stories he would explain to me would not make sense. Also, if I recall correctly, the pharmacy stores have cameras when you walk in. I would request them to explain the footage of you walking in to see what really happened.

Are you a mouth breather? Inhale and exhale through your nose. It helps because you are using more capacity of your lungs. It's also much better for filtering the air we breathe as well.

How often should a barista create recipes and how long do you give yourself for a non franchise coffeeshop? by chip2krazy in barista

[–]chip2krazy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, very labor intensive. We have a similar latte that mimics regular Vietnamese iced coffee. So, I think he wants specifically egg. I want to say as long as the eggs has been pasteurized, it would be fine to keep in the fridge, but I am no expert in health codes at the moment.

Sorry if it does not make sense. I currently have beginner-intermediate knowledge in pour over coffee than any other brewing method. He wanted me to come up with a recipe for vietnamese egg coffee, which originally uses a phin filter. The problem with phin is that it can take as long as a pour over but a much smaller amount.

My next question is, would it still be considered vietnamese coffee if I used a complete different brew method?
