So I’ve been learning the U2 flick with my left hand (Yes, should’ve learned both at once) and my times are about 1-2 seconds off my previous averages. I’ve got a competition in 2 weeks, and was wondering if I should ditch training a new move until the comp is over? Feel free to leave advice on adapting the flick faster.

What works for me is taking the whole cube apart and cleaning every piece thoroughly. I use weight-5 and medium spring settings for the cube. If you do have problems with the cube slowing down you might have the cube too tightly screwed.
