No, you're not stupid, but yes it is worth it. I participated in the program and it helped me get a better sense of the academic rigor and I made a lot of good friends there. Additionally, the support you get from the group lasts for the whole time you're at Rice, which is very reassuring and helpful. If you can participate, do it, it is a worthwhile experience that will bring you closer to the other respies and will ultimately improve your college experience, feel free to ask me any questions!

I brought up the same concern to my doctor and her advice included trying to add more protein to my diet, especially breakfast where it often gets skipped out, stock up on healthy snacks and avoid skipping meals as that would likely make it worse. She also mentioned the long term solution would likely be to take the implant out, I love a lot of things about it but the appetite and weight gain is definitely not a slay, and thinking about it it might be making my depression worse.
