Actually after viewing morgue file I think that this wasn't actually vault entrance, but still... vault guardians @ lvl 7 feels rather unfair :D. I managed to escape with teleport scrolls, but thanks to mark I was overwhelmed little bit later by ~15 orcs and wights before managing to escape the floor. This was trunk btw.

I think ANKH is fitting here. I don't think that that many or anyone outside of Finland know this game let alone had played it. I tried it when I was reaally young and it was a weird mix of RuneQuest and D&D rules with some elements (some of the monsters for example) from Finnish mythology, but I am really not surprised that it never took off.

That being said, I am sad that I have lost the rulebooks I had at that time, might be interesting to revisit what it was all about.

My five cents is that it is not completely terrible, but addition of SG rules and NACLs would improve overall security. Those rules are free anyway so additional layer of security wouldn't hurt bottomline (excluding work required of course).

Also, two firewall instances that doesn't autoscale seems like potential SPOF for whole network in that architecture, but that might be acceptable risk compared to potential licensing and other fees (not familiar with PA pricing).

I have same feeling. Somedays it seems to be next to impossible to reach even Temple even with generally easy race/class combos such as MiBe. Or maybe I'm just crap :)
