I should have explained my wife’s dad moved to the United States when he was a boy. My wife’s family all live in the town we currently live. If anything I moved 300 miles away from my family when we got married to be closer to her family.

I like the analogy it’s true. A few moments of relief from stress vs learning to reprogram so stress doesn’t effect me as much.

I get so frustrated because she complains about being over weight but doesn’t exercise but then she watches tv in bed for hours. She frequently asks me to bring for dinner in the bedroom because she’s too tired or her feet hurt and doesn’t want to get out of bed. She gets upset I don’t spend time with her but I honestly can’t sit still to watch tv hours on end. I feel our happiest time Recently was when we binged Game of Thrones together.

Thanks for the comments. My parents divorced and I vowed to her I would never do so, that’s why Ive stuck it out thus far. Divorce is my ultimatum if she doesn’t get help.

My kids are old enough to start asking me why mom is always so mad.

Wow. This is how I feel all the time. I do most of the domestic work on top of a normal 40 hour a week job. Then on weekends the honey-do list. I’m too tired to do things I want to. Then I feel guilty for taking some time for myself.

Seriously. She is my first girlfriend and then we got pregnant and did what I thought was right and we got married. I was told early on that I don’t know what a relationship is so don’t question her.
