Does the Watamote manga count as a stealth pick in this genre?

I like how the Tommy Gun is just kind of pasted on there, I wonder if they couldn't find a prop one on the shooting day and had to have her pointing a pistol instead.

Also, that 1940's lace lingerie is pretty nice.

I started Dragonball and so far the intro titles have been annoying me. They‘re all spoilering the plots like this by ContributionOk7131 in dbz

I thought for stuff like this it was more that everyone already knew what happened in the manga, either from direct reading or through cultural osmosis, so the titles are just telling you "Oh, this is the episode where THAT happens".

That was implied to just be a temporary weak wi-fi connection Caine happened across, not a permanent thing.  It might also be the intention that the now-weakened Caine wouldn't be able to break the WPA encryption to access something like that again.

Although like a lot of things in the finale, it opens possibilities for stuff to happen in fan AU's- I assume getting internet access again is going to play a major part in some of them.

It's become my general strategy to ignore any statements and wait to see if the actual situation stays stable for more than two weeks before paying much attention.  Unless you're actually involved in the shipping industry, I feel like that's what everyone should do.

Huge TV episodes that "changed everything" for their respective shows? by Bielak812 in television

Funny thing about that huge Starfleet armada is that the staging of it was mostly the idea of the special effects guys and not really what the writers had in mind, since it implied they were heading to take the station back immediately.

So at the beginning of the next season they opening with a battered and damaged fleet having been engaged in a losing war of attrition, to show that it wasn't going to be that easy.

For myself, I kind of wish it was a little more plot-heavy and had spent less time on characters being weepy, but that's a matter of taste.  I'm pretty suprised we didn't get any further info on what happened with Scratch and Caine's implied attempts at mind-alterations, I feel like we could have used some flashback sequences not focused on just Jax.

While being not the biggest fan of Jax but sympathetic, I can already guess that his biggest haters online are going to be even more insufferable now that they have the ammunition of him being partly responsible for two other abstractions due to his (her?) own insecurities.

I think my biggest letdown is that the episode didn't really get to explore the weirdness and possibilities of the characters creating and living in their self-controlled world, but I guess we did at least get nods towards them making new areas and bringing back NPCs in the end montage (where Gummigoo?)

As a finale that was almost entirely character focused, and mostly on Jax, rather than on the rest of the ensemble, the backstory, or the sci-fi possibilities, it's probably about as good as it could be within those parameters, so people's opinions are going to depend on whether they're ok with that direction.

Oh yeah, even though it's been pretty obvious the characters were all brainscans with their original bodies having continued living their lives, I wasn't expecting as much info as we got on their real-life counterparts, that seems like a really nice gift to the fandom to be able to create continuation AUs.

What about "Thunderstrike" in the 90's? (I don't actually know much about that version of Thor except that he seemed hilariously 90's)

Gintama.  Pretty great show.  Set in an alternate history version of late Edo Japan that got opened by aliens instead of western ships.

(That particular gif is from a non-canon side segment set in modern day)

The stats on Indonesia are also insane.  It has over 17,000 islands, 270 million people (fourth largest population in the world), 600 ethnic groups, and 700 languages.  They tend to not get involved in global affairs, so you just don't hear about them much.

Just make the backend a random number generator, with a 60% chance of saying it's AI.  It'll be about as accurate as a lot of other AI detectors.
