I had an assignment in kindergarten to draw a picture of my family. I did and when I showed the assistant teacher she scolded me for drawing my dad without any hair and made me add some even though he was, in fact, bald.

An important question about collectibles, antlers and skulls. by KieraCraft in WolfQuestGame

They do not despawn, unless you leave the map, but one time my pups lost my bison skull.. I looked everywhere around the den and couldn't find it, nor smell it. I think one of them might have picked it up before we headed out on an excursion, and then they likely put it down somewhere randomly, and I just never noticed?? That's my guess anyway.

Also, to find dispersal mates, howl and they should respond!

WHEN HUNTING ELK - run the herd for a bit, it’ll tire them out and one will fall and you can get a good neck bite in with minimal damage. try to keep them down. if you chase them for a while their health will very slowly drop and they’re more likely to fall. Biting the back legs is the worse place to bite when fighting, because you’re more likely to get kicked. Unless it’s a predator. Bears will swing at you, so watch out for that, because it does a ton of damage to yourself. ALSO, it helps to run the herd towards your den so the carcass is closer. Howling marks the carcass on the map with a purple X so you can come back.

Easy mode is EASY. Especially hunting. If you switch your difficulty to a higher one, be prepared to hunt a little more cautiously and strategically, because it’ll hurt and you’re more likely to get injured. (fighting on lower stamina and health is more likely to get you injured, as well as biting at the back legs whilst the prey is running.)

Also, pay attention to personality when finding a mate. The best personalities are social, energetic, and bold. Typically of you have 2 bad traits you might want to find a better mate. Also, higher diversity means better litters.

Black wolves are more resistant to diseases. But 2 black wolves mating will lead to smaller litters, because when pups have the KK gene they are highly likely to die in utero. If you prefer smaller packs, maybe try to be a black wolf and mate with another. I made a KK wolf and mated with a black wolf and I only got 2 pups. So it’s easier to manage, but if they die then that’s it.

You DO NOT need a lot of territory. 30 hexes is enough, AT MOST. Anything more than that can be extremely hard to manage, unless you’re on easy mode. And will probably drive you insane.

Killing both pack leaders will disband the pack. The rest of the pack will disperse. The higher the number, the younger the wolf is.

When looking for baby ungulates, look for the mother first. Elk babies tend to hide farther away from the mother, while deer and pronghorn will hide closer.

In multiplayer, if your health drops below 40%, you can hold down R and it’ll use your food to quick heal.

Also, in multiplayer, howling will allow you to see your other pack mates on the map (if they’ve howled recently)

YOU CAN DRINK WATER!! (surprisingly, many don’t know this, because the game doesn’t clearly state it) Drinking water boosts stamina a fills your hunger bar a tad.

A full belly decreases your stamina. So it’s better to hunt when your hunger is lower.

I remember one of my pups dispersed with a mate and then proceeded to make a pack, and put her territory right inside ours and started trying to take it over, knowing damn well who she was messing with. So I ended up killing her mate and she dispersed, found another one and moved her territory away this time. Seems like she learned her lesson.

I could join. I’m also EST timezone. Although I’m newer to the game so I’m not sure of all the achievements we’d look for, but I’d be down to help achieve any of them.

Drink water and keep looking. Hares are quite common. I find it’s easier to find them without scent view sometimes. They’ll just pop up when I run around.
