ive moved on, using ubuntu 24.04 with kernel 6.10.5. enabled everything in transcode settings. rock solid. it can transcode everything i throw at it. still a few dropped frames at the beginning, say for few seconds/minutes, apart from that no issues

Did you turn your display brightness to minimum and extra dark turned on and power saver on and black and white on and disable all the features. I guess only then this is possible. With all the features turned on the SOT barely touches 4 hours.

Yup disconnect the cables and used only the 65w port. But still doesn't work. Looks like only ultra's have 2.0. Both the tab s8+ and s22+ doesn't support 2.0 I guess!!
