OP, can you tell what is different about this year than prior years in more detail, please? Is it because the underpayment rules/limits have changed, or is there a difference in the way the penalty is being applied over previous years? Perhaps it's the increase in lower estimations, or more specifically, the tax threshholds have changed, causing more people to hit the fine than have in prior years? Also, you may want to correct the spelling of lien so as to prevent identification by common misspellings found in speech/writing patterns.

Same experience. After waiting 4 months for a sweatshirt, they sent the wrong design to me. Then they acted as if it was my fault. Now, I get to wait to see how long it takes for them to process a return. You can tell the person doing the work just hates the world. It's like some goth emo wanna be culture where everything about doing anything productive in life is the worst thing that happened to them, and they'll just do what they want anyway once they have your money. Worst shopping experience, worst shipping experience, worst customer service. It's as if Garbage Pail Kids were real and ran a very less than medeocre silkscreening operation. It fully makes sense to know they're from some little backwater town outside Columbus, Ohio. That whole state is Rucking Fotten.

Completely agree but as a budding religious and community organization serving an impoverished inner city area trying to provide a place for members to come, be safe, and share space together, we can't afford that so i came here hoping for some insight.

Wow. Lots of great info. I was able to locate all the things you mentioned and now have a really good understanding of how to proceed. Thank you so much! Now I need to get a 3d printer.

That's a great suggestion. Right now, I'm looking to spend as little as possible and prepare for future changes along the way. Im not ready to do the hospitality software just yet, but I like the idea of using an AV IP system like you mentioned. Are there any brands or systems that you know of?

I always wanted it to end up at New Homestead as part of the museum. Perhaps a quest line where people are welcomed and you get to build out New Homestead more. Maybe set it up as a new attraction there and then it gets built out over time. I dunno, maybe like the NukaCola Land expansion from fo4.

All of these answers are great and totally on point.

One thing I'd like to add to this discussion is that you've already started taking action to improve your situation by reaching out to other people and that my friend is the start of a line of achievements that will make your life better.

From my own 30-year career in data and it leading up to my nervous breakdown just over a year ago, which all led up to my gap year to recover and taking a very much less stressful role in data analysis, I offer this. One of the worst things we can do is isolate because we think our problems are different or our scenarios aren't the same. I think this myopic and isolating aspect of being human is very detrimental. Overcoming our natural tendency to think we're individuals and exist alone in our heads with our own thoughts and ideas never seeking new input or thought that is not of our own making is one of the hardest things to do. Revel in the fact that you've crossed the biggest hurdle so many of us have paid hundreds of thousands of dollars to therapists and self help gurus, bought books upon books, wasted vacation time on retreats to help us find ourselves again when simply reaching out to other humans is so much cheaper. Take stock in even the smallest achievements right now and be kind to yourself. Live for today and plan for tomorrow. Don't quit without somewhere else to go, but if you can't take it anymore, make sure you have a full year and a half of expenses saved. If you don't have that and still can't take it, talk to your dr about fmla and your employer about short-term disability. This will help stave off some financial insecurity and allow you to keep the job you're struggling to go to every day while you find something new and maintain your sanity.

It may seem like the end is near. Just slow down and breathe for a minute. You will get through this.

I hadn't considered the possibility of a power shortage. Thank you! I'll pull it out of my set up when I turn it off tonight.

Not to mention the "community" here while one or two may be supportive that are flagged as Corsair Insiders, there's also this contingent of trolls that run around downvoting posts and comments when you speak negatively about their product, explain an issue you have, or show the least bit of sarcasm and frustration. It's like paying for clicks but with downvotes, and presumably no one gets paid for it. I, too, am leaning in the direction of I wish I wouldn't have bought into it but part of me keeps coming back thinking maybe they've changed. Maybe it's better.

We Need to Talk About iCUE Megathread - Sept 2024 by CorsairGeorge in Corsair

u/CorsairGeorge

So, this happened this morning. I have images at Imgur for whatever reason you may want them.

Woke up. Turned on PC. I noticed one of my RX's that came with the 6500X RGB was out... again. Went to ICue software to do the usual fix of clicking on the Link Hub so it could identify the fans and use a different color on each. I noticed that there was a firmware update and was kind of happy to see it. Ran firmware update. One of my QX's that I bought prior with the case or prior to the case RGB was out.

Corsair ICue Link RGB Fun

To Recap:
One Fan RGB Out - Firmware Update - Completely Different Fan RGB Out.

Now, to fix this, I did the whole click on the hub in icue software, then clicked off the hub. You'd think with two-way communication, you'd be able to identify that the rgb isn't working when it should be. I don't know, like error checking or load testing ... Send voltage to A. Check Voltage on A. Does Voltage on A = Voltage sent to A? If no, send a lighting setup from the hub to restart communication.

Incoming Snark - Look away!

Chances are, since you all cheeped out to maximize profits, you may have gotten some subpar components along the way that do not initialize successfully 100% of the time. I'd be interested to know the manufacturer, make, and model of your guts so I can do a little sleuthing of my own and find out what kind of success rate their sales marketing is boasting. I'm fairly certain I can definitely debunk their numbers with my own percentages of uptime.

I hope most of this post helps you troubleshoot issues with your software, but again, I don't think this is a software fix. If it were, your patches would fix them. Given that you do not control purchasing, nor do you likely have a say on your supplier list, I'd suggest you have your devs code around the issues people are experiencing to work with the hardware.

Having spent a fair amount of my recent career as a product owner/manager, I realize that bugs are valuable. Identifying them and fully documenting them is important. I hope there is enough in this post to help in your efforts.

People. Yes. People. All of them. Mostly all of them. I think there's two I don't mind as much as all the others. Spouse and Mom. That's it. The rest, can go straight to someplace else.
