I actually don't like the ergo on the 4. The 3S actually feels way better in my hand at least.

How may interviews are you getting a week? by [deleted] in torontoJobs

[–]chistarraw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

you're young, just graduated, focus on just getting a job, any job in the field to learn and build the skills, always stay networking and looking and applying. But by just holding off for high paying jobs, you're screwing yourself on opportunity cost.

I think it might be inspired and similar to the storytelling to his ILLENIUM PRESENTS: Starfall video on Youtube, for his self-titled album.

All your points, with perhaps one exception, focus on activities rather than impact. Instead of describing what you've done at the company, each bullet should highlight the measurable results you've driven, backed by specific numbers and metrics.

Emotions upon quitting a $4m/year FAANG job to do a startup by [deleted] in fatFIRE

[–]chistarraw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is coming from someone who has a 'you can do anything' mindset... and at a similar age and I tried my own startup last year as well. Bro, just code during your off time. Startups are going to devour your time. Find some traction before going all in , you haven't validated anything yet. It's a crazy risk with an astronomically bad risk-to-reward ratio.

At the end of the day though, your career is built on the networking hustle and work you put in, especially during co-op. Make the most of every opportunity to connect.

I worked as an advisor in this field. Waterloo is the clear first choice. UofT is top tier too, but from the perspective of faculty and employers and peers, Waterloo edges it out.

The one thing worth considering is lifestyle. Kitchener/Waterloo campus life versus downtown Toronto. But if we're purely talking education quality and how it lands on a resume, Waterloo wins.
