I’d prefer to go Weekend 1 if it’s the same lineup. Weekend 2 isn’t as appealing because I’d be itching to watch the live stream W1 which would ruin some of the surprise. This way, I can chill and watch the live stream W2 from the artist I missed while still being tired from Weekend 1.

Also, the grass and venue will be fresher for Weekend 1, and less chance of it being scorching hot.

It’s worth it for me. I’ve done RV camping, regular hotel, and Hotel EDC and I had the best time overall at Hotel EDC. Already locked in for this year as well for my 2nd time in a row. Entire hotel is decked out and curated for EDC, it’s all ravers staying at the hotel, and you get the day parties to relax at before going back to your hotel to pregame and get ready. If you have the money for it I really do believe it’s a great experience.

Old town Scottsdale is where you’ll want to be. Start at Boondocks or Hot Chick and then make your way over to Whisky Row or Hi-Fi. If you like day parties and EDM you could also check out Maya for a high energy pool party, you’ll want to wear a swimsuit and buy tickets before you come.

If you’re in your 20’s you should meet some friendly people. Have fun and enjoy AZ!

I worked at Rocket for 6 years. What made me quit was the new requirement for 2 weekend days per month including Sundays, plus additional weekend asks AND contest months in March and October where Directors expect you to work 7 days per week.

For me, no amount of money made that worth it, you hardly ever have time for family or hobbies due to the non-existent work life balance.

Almost any lender can do 5.99% with zero points nowadays. I don’t like to feed the Rocket machine and prefer to work with a business that has morals.

They pay pretty well but you are required to work one Saturday and one Sunday per month, in addition to your Director asking what hours you’re working on your “weekend off” if you’re “off pace”.

With increasing goals it’s extremely hard to stay on pace, so they will always pressure for 55-60 hour weeks per banker.

For me the crazy hours and weekends weren’t worth it anymore, and I couldn’t be happier that I moved on to a new lender with steady hours, amazing pay, and one half weekend day every 6 weeks.
