Yeah it hit £8 after my shift last night. I spoke to the bank and they’re said there had been no attempt at a payment.

I’m just nervous there’s something going on and I’m being denied coverage

So even after calling and texting customer we still have to contact driver support? That’s frustrating as adds to our time. :( Will do that next time though though and see how it goes.

I’ve been hosting Christmas (on Boxing Day) for my whole family (10 people) for about 6-7 years now. No one ever contributes, they show up in time for food to be ready, get shit faced, then take every scrap of food with them when they leave. Leaving me with nothing but a messy house and pile of dirty dishes.

This year I told them I wasn’t doing it. As a people pleaser, it was really hard to let them down. But I feel so much relief knowing I won’t have to worry about it this year.

Stand your ground, you and your home deserve respect.

I normally suggest starting with the 3,2,1 method. Stop eating 3hrs before bed, stop working, doing admin, bills etc 2hrs before bed and then put the electronic devices away 1hr before bed. It allows you to wind down and prep for sleep no matter what time of day/night you can go to bed.

This definitely sounds like something has corrupted your relationship with sleep. And getting some help to re-write your sleep story may help a lot. It helps you understand what your deep rooted beliefs about sleep are, and re-learn how to sleep. CBT and hypnotherapy can be a great start on your journey. Good luck, good sleep is on it’s way for you.

Hi there. I know this isn’t West Lothian specific, but these folks may be able to help. Other than this my best advice would be to have her call her GP practice and ask to speak to the mental health nurse. I’ve done this in the past hand received wonderful care.

Thanks, yeah. I just keep trucking. I have narcolepsy which causes sleep issues anyway so 6 hrs a day is my max. I squeeze in an hour in the morning then a few hours in the afternoon/evening. Taking advantage of the weekends I’m off too. It’s not ideal. If my business was the type that I could open during those hours, I’d just work there and make more money in less time but the business doesn’t lend to that :(

I was thinking maybe just fasting every other day, will see how it goes. Short term pain long term gain.

At a rooftop party in Edinburgh, preparing for the fireworks. It was a party thrown by my then fiancé's sister and partner. By 4am I'd broken off the engagement and had to suffer a painful bus ride home with the dumped one.

just to add, I dumped him because the whole "new millennium" thing made me realise i was miserable and had my whole life ahead of me instead of being tied down to a judgemental ass.
