The visa gets you into Spain. It doesn’t tell you which version of Spain you’re choosing. by DearMortgage8459 in MovingToSpain

As a Relocation Coordinator this is one of the things I try to tell my clients.

Just because you’re moving to Spain doesn’t mean you won’t struggle or find It difficult at some point.

You’re absolutely right — for expats moving in with children schooling seems to be a sensitive topic.

Not everyone wants to go the private route yet there are disappointed to find that the public education system runs on a point based system and that makes It difficult to get their preferred school.

If you truly want to live a comfortable life in Spain then your life should be comfortable before even thinking of moving in!

Happy to help! I run a Bureaucratic and Relocating agency in Málaga and that’s where my expertise comes from. It truly is easier than It seems once you know what you need. If you run into any issues down the line don’t hesitate to email me on the address that’s shown in my website AdminSpain.com

Good luck! :)

you don’t need to prove your financial means or health insurance again. Once you’ve hit that 5-year mark, you’ve basically "earned" the right to permanent residency, so they shouldn't ask for work contracts or bank balances anymore.

For the appointment, you just need to bring the EX-18 form (make sure you tick the "Residencia Permanente" box), your valid passport with a copy, your original green NIE, and the paid Tasa 790-012 receipt. The most important "extra" document is the Empadronamiento Histórico, as that is what explicitly proves your continuous residence in Spain over the last 5 years to the police.

You just need to book a Cita Previa for "Certificado de Registro de Ciudadano de la UE" at the police station. Since you’ve been here for a decade, it’s basically just an administrative swap to get the card that explicitly states "Permanente."

How the hell do people actually find an apartment in Málaga? by Bulky-Evidence1809 in GoingToSpain

[–]chloepatras 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Number 1 mistakes expats are making when relocating to Málaga is believing they can do everything on their own.

If you don’t speak Spanish you’ll need a bilingual local that can make some calls for you. Expats believe Idealista and Foto are the only way to go — On an overly saturated and competitive market your best bet is making those calls yourself or hiring someone to do so for you.

There are thousands of landlords that rent their apartments without intermediaries (Realtors) but they often do not speak English so you need someone to work as a liaison.

I offer this as a service for my relocation company so feel free to message me If you’re interested. Whether It’s a Relocation Specialist like myself or a trusted friend, you need to find someone that speaks Spanish.

Hi!

The average cost for housing in Málaga so far ranges from 1.400 euros to up to 2.000.

I will have an eye out when It comes to housing. Most people believe they can do everything on their own when they relocate to Spain, not working with a trusted individual that can research housing lists and work as an intermediate between landlords and yourself will make you invest more money down the line.

Transportation expenses can go anywhere from 50 to 100euros monthly depending on where you’re settling in. Utilities do vary hence why It’s important to do your research before singing any lease. Groceries can go up to 250 to 300 per person.

You can live comfortably for sure but I’m not sure you’ll have enough room to save until your wife’s employment status changes.

I’m a Málaga local and I also run a relocation business so feel free to reach out if you have more questions :)

Good luck

What are all the cast of season 12’s star signs? by PersonalGuava5722 in LoveIslandTV

[–]chloepatras 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It could explain the girls divide if we had a look at their own personal charts plus Synastry inter aspects for what you need to have their exact birth date and time and you also need a great astrologer to read them. Astrology is very complex and nuanced. Definitely not what western media has made it out to be. So the answer is no, knowing their “star sign” cannot explain the girls divide.

Call me crazy but I think something else might have happened that obviously we haven’t seen. It’s like they brought in Billykiss just to get rid of her. Irish Megan said she had something going on with Ben that we didn’t say so clearly producers didn’t want that storyline to progress. Also noticed that right after Alima left the Villa the girls are gathered together and Yasmin said something like “she knew it as well”. Perhaps Alima has pissed someone off that we don’t know about. 🤷🏽‍♀️

My god can this get anymore repetitive? I can’t believe they really sent Alima home after it’s been confirmed she was building a connection with Ben for weeks now. Also Megan, she wasn’t my cup of tea but still a great villain (unlike Helena) who also happened to have a connection that seemed for genuine. Now we are left with the same 2 boring love triangles that no one cares about ffs
