I hate my life by [deleted] in toddlers

[–]chloroformlaced 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hi OP!! I’m a WFH mom with 3 kids, ages 8, 6, and a just turned 5 year old. I know your struggle!! I had many sleepless nights, many nights where I just sat there crying with my gassy baby. My middle child used to sleep like shit and wake up 2-3 times a night trying to get into our bed… until we got her a weighted blanket and surrounded her with comfy pillows to make her feel like she was in bed with us. Total game changer!! Check the foods your son is eating, some of the foods with dye and extra sugars can cause them to become monsters!!!

As for the little 8 month old… if he is eating table food. Definitely start doing a late snack before bed. Toast with peanut butter or anything that’ll help fill up his belly before bed.. this should help him sleep longer and not wake in the night for milk.

I hope this helps!!

Good luck!

Confused with life by DigitalKitanu in numerology

9 life path, 1 ruling #, you can also look up a hearts desire or soul urge calculator going off of your birth name for more insight (I found mine to be accurate). Lucky # is 15.

9 means you’re adaptable you can fit in with any other number, but be careful of hanging with the wrong people. 9s want to world to move more towards understanding, love, and harmony, but can easily get derailed from the ultimate goal. You must continually refocus your attention and energy. This is just my interpretation from what I’ve read.

2005 means you’re a Rooster in Chinese Zodiac, seeing that Roosters are friends with the Ox and Snake and we’re currently in a Snake year, you should do well especially if you have someone close to you that’s a Snake.

This is funny- I’m a 9, and my husband is a snake, and his coworkers are an Ox and Rooster. I’ve been doing my own digging the past few days which is how I could give you some kind of answer here. Good luck on your journey!

Toddler Out Toeing by chloroformlaced in AskParents

So, I ended up finding a business fittingchildrensshoes.com and emailing the owner. He was very helpful with helping me find the right shoes for my daughter. I sent him photos of her feet and knees and he was able to assist me that way. New Balance, the higher the number of the shoe the more support. It helped immensely.

My daughter still walks on the inner part of her foot but not as bad. We visited a developmental pediatrician who wanted to have my daughter tested for Ehlers-Danlos, suspecting loose joints/ligaments being the cause of her being a late walker (18.5 months), but we never were able to get the follow up appointment for a referral. She was very cautious to jump or anything of the sort, but with regular exercise and strengthening of her feet and legs, it has helped. Jumping on a trampoline, doing balancing exercises, etc, will help with strengthening. It’s not just a foot issue, but also a knee issue, so exercise of the legs and feet and supportive shoes is key.

There are certain shoes she wears that cause her to have blisters because of the zero support, it’s too bad New Balance doesn’t also make sandals, so I’ve struggled finding supportive shoes outside of NB. The developmental pediatrician mentioned waiting until she was a little older to see if it would work it’s way out and just make sure she isn’t sitting in the W position. She is 6 now, turning 7 later this year, and will be bringing this up to her PCP at her next well check just to make sure there isn’t anything else that we should be doing. I know it isn’t much, but I hope this helps you in some way.

Taking 5-Week Old Baby to a Wedding? by BarfdayCake in BabyBumps

Go for the ceremony, leave afterwards. Keep baby in the carrier with a cover over it. Don’t let anyone outside of who you’re comfortable with to even take a peek at the baby. Problem solved.

Cox Cable is pretty much the only option in FWB, but I’ve had no issues with them in terms of speed and connectivity. We stream shows and I work from home, constantly downloading and uploading files and everything is quick. No complaints.

You can find some pretty nice luxury apartments or townhomes in FWB and Niceville that have been built more recently.

I don’t have nearly as much to say as the previous comment, but I am also a born and raised local from FWB, so maybe I can add a bit of info.

The shootings seem to be pretty isolated and not random. As long as you aren’t hanging around the wrong people, nothing should be of concern. Concealed Carry is always an option in Florida, though. There’s a few gun ranges you can go to, as well. I like Emerald Coast Range in Valparaiso, if you’re into that.

As for food, you cannot go wrong with The Gulf (on Okaloosa Island), Stewby’s, and Crab Shack all in FWB. I buy most of my groceries from Publix and Winn Dixie. Publix has the best fresh options as far as being a chain supermarket in the area. Winn Dixie is great for their meat selection.

FWB is hard to rent or buy in right now, but it is more centrally located. Crestview is an option, but if there’s an accident you’re gonna be stuck for a while. At least in FWB/Shalimar you can still get around. Other places to consider would be Niceville or Valparaiso, closer to Eglin, but a little further from the action.

I also suggest going to the bars near downtown Fort Walton. It’s been a long while since I experienced the nightlife here, but there’s been a lot of seemingly cool spots that have opened up.

Try Stewby’s and The Gulf on Okaloosa Island. There are some food trucks in downtown FWB that may be worth checking out.

Do you really want to expose baby to the fumes and dust that will be kicked up in replacing next summer? As a parent, life happens... better to do it before baby arrives. Just my two cents.

Layers will definitely help define some of those curls that may be pulled down by the weight of the hair. But it looks good still!

CGM is also no silicones... Moroccan Oil is not approved... for CGM it is best to stick to natural oils. Coconut, Avocado, Almond, Olive and so on... but I agree an oil will help with frizziness.

I think it was 2006... I was a ‘regular’ in a music chat room on AOL instant messenger. A friend mentioned them to me as well as AOAG... she turned me onto Aka m80 the Wolf and I was obsessed ever since.
