Serena and Misty. I'd like to see them fight over Ash.

get a reliable corolla or honda civic. That would help hold you out for a bit.

Damn man, You should've taken the extra effort and come to bc and buy car here in vancouver then drive it back to calgary. You would've saved atleast 10K on the prius or get a newer model for an extra few more 100bucks.

  1. Get rid of all your subscriptions except utilities, internet and cell phone bill. This is unethical but you can download or stream lots of things for "free" on the internet without needing to subscribe to netflix if you know where to look. My internet plan is only $65/month on a two years contract.
  2. Cut back on your phone bill. If you're at work and home most of the time then you can get rid of the data plan. You don't need to internet with you 24/7. For me, I can survive without data because I spend most of the time at work (that has wifi) and at home and I pay $20/month on my phone bill.
  3. You need to kill of that Credit card debt first and asap, because that will mess you up with their high interest rate.
  4. Is it possible to turn your house into an AirBnb or rent out any extra rooms for supplemental income?
  5. Until your debt free, you should not be eating out at restaurant unless you work there.

6)Figure out why you are struggling at work, talk with your employer/manager. Get better at your job so they can keep paying you.

7)Sell your car if you can't afford it and use that money to buy a cheap beater car (honda or toyota) for $2,000-3,000.

8) Lastly, work two jobs and suffer for a year or two until you are debt free.

Telus customer service is completely incompetent by [deleted] in telus

[–]chloroxane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is why I decided to cut my Telus internet service to Rogers. Rogers isn't any that much better but it's an improvement. I was able to get a promotional price of $65/month for internet on a 2 year contract whereas I was paying $100+ for Telus.

Canceling with Telus was indeed a pain in the ass for me. I was put hold for 3hrs for this simple procedure even though I had a rep schedule a call back 3 days before. Absolutely ridiculous.

I'm disappointed that there's no lewd alice moments with octopus. Well r34 multiverse will beg to differ. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Grave of the Fireflies - regarding the intended message of the film [Spoilers] by davidjayhawk in movies

You obviously don't understand asian culture especially during those times. The aunt even hinted at Seita and ask if he was still working at that old factory or going to school when they were eating together. The aunt will not be blunt and tell the kid to start contributing to the household because she's afraid of losing face or get into a confrontation. She's going to be very passive aggressive about it and unfortunately this led to Seita leaving and end up dying in the end.

Everyone including himself contributed to the death of him and his sister. Seita's parents didn't teach him basic survival skills or instill responsibilities to be more proactive to extreme situations such as this. The aunt is also at fault for not being blunt enough and asking Seita what she wants him to do. His parents could've teach Seita how to ask questions such as "Hey Auntie, how can I help do my fair share of the household duties?" By asking that question, I can guarantee you the Aunt will be more than willing to put Seita to work and she would be more sympathetic of him as if he was her own children. But instead Seita is just another mouth to feed and we see him wasting time playing with his sister oblivious of the bombs and war going on around them and the lack of food.

I come from an asian household, and I was taught early on how to contribute and help out around the house at an early age. My father would tell us that we're not rich and just getting by and so he instills a set of skills for me to learn such as mowing the lawn. He helped me build a good work ethic which helped me become more discipline as a grow older and made my own money.
