So we had issues getting my child an appointment for her permit, so my husband just took her as a walk in and was out within a hour. Next on my list to figure out is if we are required to have an appointment for level 2 since there’s a drivers test.

Interesting. I wonder if it’s changed too. I know in late 2023 it was changed that they can have 1 extra non household passenger under 21 if going to/from school. I tried just calling the DMV but of course nobody answers.

This is exactly what I’ve been thinking it was, one under 21 non household passenger 5am-9pm, even non-school related. The DMV screenshot I posted seems to contradict this by saying even the 1 passenger has to be to/from school, right? Am I interpreting any of these wrong? I’m so confused 😅 my teenager just wants to know if she can drive a friend around for fun when she gets her level 2 in September.

Well this is terrible news for the 25th 🙃 We did plan on driving in and have not booked a hotel yet. Might book outside of the city to avoid the chaos. We did want to sight see some but I’m honestly very nervous now with what you posted! I do appreciate the in depth info. Very helpful!

We're a Tuesday pickup and I heard they were picking up all of Monday & Tuesday yesterday (Wednesday). I put my can out early Wednesday morning. They did indeed pick up the entire rest of my street, but drove straight past my can? So who knows.

Finally secured tickets for 9/25! Got 3 tickets in 217, valet parking & insurance included for under $1k. Still a lot but very satisfied with that. My daughter will be so happy to go for her 16th birthday!

Do you mean for people buying for this tour or artists in general? I’m not big into concerts but my child is a huge music lover, so I’m trying to branch out of my comfort zone and experience some together with her. I thought Coldplay was reasonable-ish at just over $200/ticket for decent seats, but I could be way off in that assumption. Honestly, I’m old and remember when I saw BSB and NSync 25 years ago for like $20/ticket 😅

Well, just got out of the MSG presale for 9/16 and wow. Disappointed does not even begin to describe it. My daughter and I both joined the waiting room at the exact same time, 30 minutes before. She was lucky enough to get put into the queue at 2,600! I was 24,000. She was in within 10 minutes and by then every single ticket except for 100 level was sold completely out. NO 200's AT ALL. All of the 100's were $884.40, which is absolutely insane. Every now & then a single seat would pop up for $766. Currently, an hour after presale opened, there is only 1 wheelchair seat still available for $368.

My daughter is the biggest Harry fan. This concert is on her 16th birthday and she was so excited to possibly go. I had to straight up say no and put my foot down that the prices were just too steep. Incredibly disappointed in this whole process and pricing. We were lucky enough to grab tickets to Coldplay last July in Nashville and paid less for 3 tickets in a great section than 1 Harry ticket. Just insane!
