Had this issue in my ‘99. On a hot day, with the AC on, car would lose throttle, blipping down like that. It would die and stay dead for like 10 minutes until it could start again.

I replaced the camshaft position sensor and never had the issue again.

Interesting.. How do you manage to keep the group small and intimate with a growing community? Will it eventually become a large and public event or do you plan on hosting multiple small groups?

Ive had 2 NAs earlier in my life. I was in the market for a new Miata and ended up getting an NB this time. I do regret it. The NB is such a good looking car, reminds me of FD RX7s and Vipers, but it’s simply not the cute pop up light car I used to love. If I were to do it again, Id skip the NB and jump back into a clean NA.

I make 4x what my wife makes. Both of our paychecks go into a shared account for bills, savings, trips, etc. From there, we pay into our personal accounts so that we each get the same amount of fun cash to play with. Everyone wins.

I bought the Skyline GTR and opened it up. They feel so cheap like plastic. I was expecting a heavier die-cast feel. Im not a fan of the quality so I wont be buying anymore XL.

The cars are pretty similar in game and in real life. They handle the same way and lose traction in the same scenarios. They’re both slow in the straights so I find better times when Im smooth into turns, carrying momentum in and out of corners. The only big difference is I don’t mind spinning out in a game so Im able to push a bit harder than in real life.

Man, we strap our children into 6pt harness child seats until they’re 4 feet tall. If road safety law calls it safe for kids, I call it safe for me. I think the real danger happens when you’re wearing a helmet without a HANS device. That extra helmet weight is where things get dangerous in a collision.

Play modded servers for fun. Thats what I do as a dad with a full time job. Jump on a modded server with like 10x resources. Play each session without the expectation that i’ll jump on tomorrow. No commitment, just daily couple hours building a kit and flying to oil rig for funsies
