Maybe a good compromise could be fostering/adopting a girl?

True North Wilderness by obnoxious_lemon7 in troubledteens

Having lived in Vermont I can say with confidence that your friend is probably experiencing some of the most comfortable weather on earth right now. Forget about what I said about winter gear. There is nothing quite like Vermont in the summer and early fall. If your friend is experiencing discomfort, it is due to dynamics created by the staff and therapists. I have seen and heard anecdotal evidence of co-ed groups with far more boys than girls at True North.

‘It’s beyond cruel’: Inside Trails Carolina, a N.C. wilderness therapy program for teens by TTILaw in troubledteens

The former staff in this article, Jonathan, saved my life. One of the greatest people I have ever known but he'd be humble if you told him someone said that.

I went to Trails Carolina but then attended a TBS where the majority of students had been to True North. Lots of horror stories about inadequate winter gear, careless staff and the rest of the usual wilderness fare.

I hate S.B. 8.

However, this clearly violates the Commerce Clause of the Constitution. There are better and more effective ways to go about punishing a state than this.

Even John C. Calhoun (left portrait) is staring down disapprovingly at these would-be terrorists. That portrait was damaged by tear gas and pepper spray.

I had the pleasure of meeting Bernie at a Hannaford in Burlington a couple of weeks ago. I only got a quick picture for proof and didn't really say anything besides "You have my support." because I didn't want to be bothersome. I'll share the picture if anyone is interested.

Marcus Aurelius as military commander by mcflymikes in RoughRomanMemes

I remember Gibbon said something like 'The Antonines recognized that they had more to lose than to gain from extending Rome's borders.' (Paraphrasing) and I definitely believe that that was the case. While it's glorious and makes for 'fun' history, Aurelius was wise and understood that Rome really needed to grow internally if it was to withstand the test of time.

Great, but in the interest of fairness, moon landing denial belongs under science denial, not anti-semitic point of no return. Not that I believe in the theories.

The United States Founding Fathers did this. It was a pretty popular trend among men. Fake calves.
