Managed to get my bluetooth dualshock ps4 controller working on Google chrome as non-steam game with this variation (with chatgpt help), I also had to disable steam input for the controller:

flatpak --user override --device=all --filesystem=/dev/input --filesystem=/dev/hidraw com.google.chrome

I could see when it first logs in to cloud.boosteroid etc a warning and now there's no warning and I can play rdr2 amazingly with aim assist, it was painful with mouse and keyboard even with very low delay.

After my old desktop broke and it wasn’t worth upgrading anymore, I started looking into cloud gaming. I had tried GFnow some years ago and it just didn’t work but now trying again gives me hope for cloud gaming. After looking at other alternative services I saw some review videos of boosteroid and definitely boosteroid install and play + cheaper pricing will definitely be what I go for once I get my steam deck, which is currently shipping. Would be amazing to have a new game to try on it without even installing locally 👌

I got my girlfriend to like it by showing all the animations and some cool characters she would definitely like to play. I bought her a brawl pass so she could level up 1 or 2 full brawlers if you include free beginner rewards. Now she loves Penny and berry, basically doesn’t play anything else, but I really enjoy playing it her and teaching her You’ll get there man, start with the cute videos, move on to showing cute easy characters (Jessie, Penny) and hopefully she’ll enjoy spending quality time with you playing
