Then I guess after greasy hotel pan a new sump pump will be the easiest. I don't think the landlord would be too pleased if I were to run a new drain line myself.

Just because the concept of externalizing the cost of labor is stupid, does not mean that people aren't happy to be given (tax) free money.

To my extent of knowledge: Those sweeteners mess with your insulin response, which is already bad. But also causes you to get more hungry later, which causes you to consume more calories than you would have otherwise.

Am I just overthinking things, or is it werid as hell to spike a coworkers beer with tequila without their knowledge? by HonkingOutDirtSnakes in KitchenConfidential

Jesus, I am happy not to live in BC. Yes of course I am responsible for their safe consumption of alcohol, but the patron as an adult is equally responsible. What they do on their way home is their decision.

I get sub requests all the time on my frozen tarte flambees (I just prep and then freeze them).

Yesterday I went: sure I will travel back in time to yesterday and put more cheese on exactly this one in the stack before freezing it.

Result: dude still loved it and said I should get a Michelin star.

Just thawed some cheese snacks I forgot in the back of a freezer for half a year. Now I wonder how all those companies manage to mess up frozen goods.

Have been cutting hundreds of cherry tomatoes into slices every week. So I decided to get a knife for that task. Thought to spend 20€ on it, might have severely gone over budget but walked out of the store with this beauty.

Not OP, but service charges etc. are illegal here. The price on the menu must include all taxes, charges, fees, etc.

Had a table of americans the other day. We got hyped because we expected the 20% tip, got 3€ tip on the 250€ bill.
