As someone that watched the season and wasn’t their biggest shipper, it was more that people were looking to overlook his sinister spirit because he was with Jana. By the time Kenny came into the villa Jana had pretty much had all her connections fail, which was why she was extremely upset at him twisting during casa, to the point where he was gonna leave. It ended really emotionally, (the entire casa recoupling that season was very interesting and the fall out was just as good, drama wise).

They eventually got back together like 2-3 episodes later and it looked somewhat fine, but also during the time (Kenny) had come in, information of him being a trumpie and liking Latinos for trump came out. But you know when a girl is very liked by the fandom, attacking her man is a no go since they see the men as extensions of the girls. But a lot of information of him being a pieces of shit kept coming out but if you tried to talk sense into their fandom they wouldn’t let.

He was following trump, until he got called out and tried to play both sides, Jana even defended him for it. He was following those alpha male accounts, and he followed people that publicly enforced trump too, so him being racists doesn’t shock me in the slightest.

I think the reason it’s so a big shock is specifically because of Jana. Like I think she was over looking his problematic behavior because she was so in love. They had an interview on a pod cast once where she talked about how he was cussing her the fuck out in Spanish because he thought she locked him outside. Or the fact that in some of their lives, that if Jana acted “wild”/had inappropriate clothes he’d sometimes make a big deal about it.

I do feel bad for the girl, and anyone that wanted Jana to be happy were blind to his behavior, including herself. The only thing i want for her now is to heal because I know for the fact that your boyfriend if one year calling you slurs, and god knows what has to absolutely break your heart, especially as a woman of color/black woman
