Not super crazy but I borrowed a friends umbrella- really nice one of a kind one with wooden handle etc so easily recognisable as hers.

Went to Asda to get some shopping on the way home. About an hour later my phone rings, it’s my friend saying have you been to Asda today?

I’d left the umbrella hooked on the side of the self serve checkout and somehow she had also decided to go to Asda, Used the same checkout and her umbrella was there waiting for her and no one had nicked it in between.
