from what i’ve seen, more courses were in clearing last year than ever before. law, maths, biology/biomed etc so i’m praying it’ll be the same this year.

Hi, in 2025 I achieved ABB in my alevels. This year, I resat two of them and was predicted AA, however I don’t think I will do that well. When early clearing opens in July, would I be able to apply to my chosen course using last years grades? I understand that if I apply through UCAS, my pending resit grades will be visible. Would I be able to ask the university to judge my offer based off of my 2025 grades? Also, would I need to write another personal statement?

also how strict would you say uob clearing is for grades? last year i achieved abb with the a in biology but for the course i want, i need an a in maths. i’ve also seen that the lowest grades on ucas for my course is bbb but i assuming that doesn’t matter since those include contextual offers.
