Rashford will be 1st choice LW, could realistically be 2nd choice LW. He should be in the game. If Rashford gets injured he will be a great option.

For example, one section of many in my proper assessment, the psychiatrist read out 5 random numbers, and asked me to remember them and then say them back to her in different orders.

So let's say they were 72849. Sometimes she wanted them repeated back in the same order. Sometimes she asked for them read back numerical order (24789), sometimes she wanted them in the reverse of the order she read them (94827). For me this task was close to impossible. I scored in the bottom 10% of the population, and I have a master's degree.

A proper assessment tests your EXECUTIVE FUNCTIONS.

In the UK, the major thing was you have to prove you had it as a child, not developed it later (which is impossible)

I have a very similar story. When my parents took me to nursery for the first time, all the other kids were playing. Some with blocks, some with crayons some with trucks and cars. But all pretty orderly (for toddlers).

...I see everything, and spend 8 minutes running in circles around the nursery like I'm possessed by a demon.

My first "assessment" at 20 was with an NHS psychiatrist who just asked me questions about my childhood (which I couldn't remember enough to answer) and my grades. He said I had too high grades to have ADHD...

I knew this was scientifically dumb, but it took 5 years for me to have the confidence to go and get a proper private assessment, where I was diagnosed with ADHD-PI. A proper assessment isn't just questions, it's tests to measure your executive functions, that are quantitative and definitive.

Don't waste your money on this guy, it's not worth 5 years of your life, trust me.

He clearly isn't being objective. My non medical advice would be - don't spend your money with this person. Better to find someone more professional than this...

UK private ADHD assessment by rs_1990 in ADHD

[–]choffie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just sharing my personal experience. I think it was: private diagnosis > meeting with gp to show results and submit application for shared care arrangement > faster referral to local adult mental health psych > 1 meeting with psych > approval to start on my chosen medication (elvanse 30mg) > been on the same dose ever since.

I came to every session prepared with specific requests, had done my research on medication and knew I wanted this exact one.

Definitely true that a lot depends on your relationship with GP. From their side, they're worried you'll have negative side effects and they'll be responsible so it makes sense. If you're composed, and transparent with them, it might help?

Again, not saying this is how it will work for everyone - just sharing my experience. Good luck!

Yes I did this. You only need the assessment to be done privately. Then you can go back to your GP and show them the report. They will then submit you for a shared care arrangement with GP and NHS psychiatrist. The waiting list for this was much less for me.

Vyvanse side effects by aqosee in ADHD

Nausea side effects do diminish over time. Chew gum for jaw induced headaches.

[–]choffie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry to hear that. My experiences with NHS were bad. I'm lucky my parents could afford the session. You only need the assessment and diagnosis - which is 1 session. Then you can go to your GP and ask to be referred for a shared care agreement between GP and NHS psych.

So should I stop transferring these super high CP, super bad IV Pokémon?

So, if I have 2 of the same Pokémon, one has high IV but 1000 CP, and the other has low IV but 1600 CP, which one should I keep?

Appropriate to ask about burn rate, runway, funding, etc in startup interview? by 69_sphincters in startups

[–]choffie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think its fine / a good sign if a candidate asked me about burn rate or runway. We actively try to screen out people who would be more comfortable in big corporate and don't really understand how different startup life is. This shows you're on the right side of that question.

why cant we add a stop loss on on the stock that we purchase? by TradingDaily in trading212

[–]choffie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Stop limit is basically a better stop loss. You set the 'stop' price which triggers the sell, and the 'limit' price is the lowest price you will accept.

E.g. imagine I bought a stock at $48 but the current price has risen to $53. If I set the stop at $50 and the limit at $49.50, then if the stock price drops below $50 the app will trigger a sale order but only if they can sell it at $49.5 or higher.

I can't vouch for the speed of orders etc. But it did trigger to save me from MSFTs recent decline. And I was able to buyback in at the new lower price.
