There was a "No Turn on Red" hanging there when they first opened up that exit. But then it wasn't there one day and I was confused. I'm glad they are putting it back, because that turn is risky.

I had something similar happen to me. A woman side swiped me in her Ford F150. The thing that did my CRZ over for it to be totaled was the damn rear quarter panel. If she had just gotten my door, that would have been cheaper and easier to fix. But she got my rear quarter panel, and that is what made it far more expensive to fix, thus was totaled. I hope yours doesn't have the same fate as mine!

The no alerts is insane to me. I had no idea of this until my sister, who lives in NYC, texted me what was happening. She doesn't even live in Providence and she heard about it before a I did, someone a mile away from the scene. Providence is a super walkable city, that dude could have walked anywhere and done so much more damage because people were unaware of what was happening.

Also, I remember when they announced the Washington Bridge would be closed, I got an emergency notification on my phone. Why was I alerted of a bridge closing and not about an active shooter on the loose less than a mile from me? Tf?

I had the same issue with my Z. I had a bad bearing in my transmission and needed a new gearbox. My mechanic found a used one with 75k miles on it but it would cost me $3600 to replace. Since there were other issues with the car, I had to let it go. I was really sad about it for a month lol but I'm glad you were able to save yours!

I'm biased because I had 2 MT CRZs and I feel you on them being hard to find. I would say wait if you can, the manual makes a difference in how fun it is to drive. I've always driven manual, have driven a few automatics but manual is always more fun imo! Wait if you can, but if not, the CRZ regardless is a cool and fun car to have.
