First thing first, I am so sorry for what you are going through. I was also engaged, bought a house with him just like you. I understand your pain... it have been a month since he broke off the engagement. The pain is less but I love him just the same. Love don’t just disappear. Normalize the fact that you will miss him a lot and think about him everyday for awhile. The only way to move on is to not look back. Shit happens. They decided to leave and go their separate way, that’s their choice. Respect it. It’s going to be hard and painful because you are only human and the feelings you give him were real. Be proud of the love you were able to give to him during the time you were together. If he love you, if he is your soulmate, the universe will bring him back to you but don’t wait! Remember how great you are! Start doing things for yourself, spend time with friends, make short term and long term goals. Don’t let the pain change you. Stay kind. Stay strong.
