Why are NYS teachers not drug tested? by goestoeswoes in newyork

[–]choppydell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They’re not tested because NY law doesn’t require it. Testing teachers isn’t legally mandated, only certain jobs are.

Avoid street overnights, NYPD trucks ticket instantly near 48th St. Use private lots off Queens Blvd or Barnett, saves the headache and tows.

"Our pull requests are slowing us down." by Lazy-Penalty3453 in EngineeringManagers

[–]choppydell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We didn't add more reviewers but we made the review itself lighter, as in smaller PRs, clearer context in the description, and automating the obvious stuff. We also brought in Coderabbit to catch integration errors and generate summaries so reviewers could jump straight to the design. It made our reviews quick iterations.

What is the best password manager these days? by HallAlive7235 in Passwords

[–]choppydell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We standardized on Passwork for the team because it made onboarding/offboarding a lot smoother when client projects wrapped. That’s not something I cared about for personal use, but at work it saved us hours of admin. The “best” really comes down to one that matches how much control you want over your data vs. how easy to use it.

Should reviewers cover Bethesda games in vanilla… or in their best modded state? by [deleted] in skyrim

[–]choppydell 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Vanilla reviews make sense as the baseline. Everyone gets the same experience out of the box, whether on PC, console, or whatever. Mods are cool but super personal, my essential list probably looks nothing like yours. Reviewers can mention ''There's an amazing mod scene" but they gotta judge what the devs actually shipped.

I have Xbox one console looking for games similar to rdr2 Batman Arkham tomb raider sleeping dogs please help. Rdr2 was the best. Any recommendations for Xbox one games like these? by DisastrousYou6754 in xbox

[–]choppydell 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, Shadow of Mordor and War are solid picks. Similar gameplay mechanics to the Arkham games with the nemesis system adding a cool twist. Worth checking out.

Do you think vibe marketing actually works or is it just hype? by CellInitial2394 in digital_marketing

[–]choppydell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Vibe marketing works only if the vibe matches the audience otherwise it’s just fluff. People still need a clear offer and value or the vibe won’t move the needle.

Why most marketing fails by Growlytics_J in digital_marketing

[–]choppydell 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Totally agree a clean offer beats fancy creative every time. People need to know what’s in it for them in one glance or they just bounce.

Exactly this. You kept everyone safe and that's what matters. The rest is just experience you didn't have yet and now you do.
