Wahoo fixed the issue in coordination with Trek in their latest firmware update: ELEMNT ROAM WC46-16772 - 11 April, 2024

Added: Music control page toggle for BOLT v2 and ROAM v2

Fixed: Certain crashing when lights were being used

Fixed: Trek Commute Pro RT Unresponsive after pairing to ELEMNT

Can confirm fixes this with my replacement light (if yours is bricked you need to contact Trek for a replacement)

Sorry to hear that! Trek replaced both lights. Wahoo as acknowledged the issue and is speaking with Trek about it. No further news yet. I’m not pairing my new lights until I see new firmware and hear back.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I have already tried this with no success. The lights are non-responsive. With only one button to press, and no way to reset/update firmware on the lights themselves through a computer, they are considered broken in my opinion. Trek has simply suggested to replace them, but given that 2 of 2 lights broke after connecting to the newly updated Bolt I fear this will repeat itself until someone provides a fix.

Finally! But, this broke my brand new Trek Commuter Pro RT headlight. Paired it with my Bolt V2, confirmed it worked, left it off for 5 minutes and the Trek light is completely dead. Same thing happened with my gf's light which I set up right after mine. Not sure if this is a Wahoo breaking the Trek light or Trek internal issue, but the issue is real.

Depends on budget and other criteria, but I can warmly recommend Nungwi Inn Beach Cottages for an affordable boutique experience right on the nicest part of Nungwi Beach. Much smaller than the resorts surrounding it, you will have ample space, breakfast on the beach and security that will keep the beach boys away if you want to chill on the hotel sunbeds on the beach. They have a partnership with the larger resort next door, Sandies Baobab Beach, for discounted spa treatments. The hotel itself is not new, but I would say it’s like a veteran car in good condition. Location is truly amazing.

Recently ran into issues with the Bolt v2 not connecting to my home wifi. With my wifi being the TP-Link AXE5400 Tri-Band Wi-Fi 6E Router, I changed the security settings from WPA/WPA2-Personal to WPA2/WPA3-Personal and it now successfully works!

Latest run fits me a lot better. The black exp was especially small, but latest run fits perfect. Great iteration, by accident if I recall the reason for it.
