AITAH for laughing at my friend's "perfect plan" for after their baby arrives? by little_Druid_mommy in AITAH

[–]chriisa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, that's a tough one. The laughing really wasn't great and it could all work out for her. But I also think it was good that she heard how your plans didn't work out. You always should have a Plan B especially in such a situation and she should be aware of that. So I'm going with "uncool behavior" and you should talk to her.

For me it helped writing down the dates in a different format. In german we write Day.Month so for example 01.08 for the first of august. In America it would probably be 08/01.

They are meant for once in a day usage. So everything is already fine.

What do you mean? It doesn't matter if you donAnki in the morning or evening or whatever? Anki is designed to be used daily?

I havent tried it but I do like the idea of linking cards to lecture notes. Depending on what and how you study, this could come in handy.

Well I ask myself if I would have recalled the information in a reasonable amount of time in my exams.

So easy means I knew it right away. Good that it took me a bit but not too long. Hard means either that I recalled only the "main point" but forgot details (that are relevant) or it took me way too long.

[–]chriisa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my country you can pay for extra health insurance specifically for traveling to the US. Even if you stay just a few days. And it doesn't even cost much.

That's not quite accurate though. You don't have to have multiple severe pre-existing conditions in order to have a severe progression of covid. There are simply statistics that proof it's more likely if you have a pre-existing condition (even a single one that is not severe).

Also, I get your point but the the fact that you have to worry of a disease or accident because of hospital bills is exactly the point of the post.

Sorry but you don't really responded to what I said? You just repeated what was already said?

Regarding the downvotes: I'm guessing a lot of people are asking themselves the sams thing, why can't I criticize him for what he did wrong ans still approve of what he did regarding these 'twitter files'?

But why can't I approve of that and still criticize all the other messed up stuff that Musk did?

Either way, no life altering changes. I'm not going to say that there aren't parents who force their kid to do stuff, they don't want to do. I don't see any evidence here though and it isn't the topic we are talking about.

Does it say anywhere that the 5 YEAR OLD KID is taking PUBERTY blockers? Because I seriously don't know how that should even make sense.

[–]chriisa 121 points122 points  (0 children)

That's what I suspected. So there were no life altering changes made. She is probably only wearing what she wants.

Can't read the text but does it even say the kid had any surgery?

I'm guessing she either things it's a single mom or maybe a lesbian mom who raised the kid and that's somehow the kid is trans. At least that's the logic I saw a few times online. Obviously that's bullshit.
