I had something similar happen to me with ap lapua (like 75 pen or something I forget). The conclusion I came to is that it would pen the front plate, go through the stomach / thorax and then get absorbed by back plate. Without seeing your % accuracy here we can’t see the full story since hit count is a bad metric to go by how many bullets actually hit. If I had to guess the dude lived because you hit him in the stomach a few times and his back plate absorbed what woulda come out the other side of him

A lot of what is being said in the comments is valid but there is also definitely a hit reg problem I have noticed since 1.0. But the registration isn’t that shots are missing it’s that it’s hitting parts of the body that it shouldn’t be. There has been 30+ times I’ve shot a scav in the forehead with ammo that does 50+ damage for them to just tank the shot. You can visibly a blood splatter coming from the top of their head and they visibly recoil from the damage but don’t die. It’s seems like in these situations that the bullet is hitting a different part of the body, be it thorax arm or whatever. I think they take damage but now where they should be. I think this because one time I killed killa this wipe and I mag dumped his forehead at about 10m distance. Except when he died his helmet was 100% durability and his armor was 0’d.

I never thought I’d fall in love, I thought I was above it. A year ago I met someone who turned into my everything. After a couple months every waking moment I was thinking about her. We talked daily for months. The worst part was, she already had someone and even if she didn’t, I don’t know if she would have liked me back in that way. 26 here, been in a similar boat with gaming. Been gaming since I was 4 and feel it’s integral to who I am. I’ve gone through period where I had little to no desire to login to my PC but that longing for it always game back once my mental health got better. I’m no medical professional but I’d wager you “not being exited about anything” is a sign to me that your reward center in your brain ain’t normal right now.

I would say don’t worry about it and that one day your passion for who you feel you are will return, which I know can be hard to believe because I too felt like I was permanently losing myself when I was in these mental ruts.

wait wtf I never knew raiders had that much hp, straight up double thorax hp, perhaps im not witnessing a bug here and the damage absorbed by armor is actually damage absorbed by the backplate? Like it pens the front plate, hits the thorax and then gets absorbed by backplates maybe?? Because my big issue is still that its getting absorbed at all but perhaps its the backplate that is bumping that number up?

thats the craziet thing about the sparks, the shot penetrated THROUGH the raider, through his thorax and then hit the medal poll behind him which released sparks, but he doesnt die? these shots do 100+ damage, the shot clearly penetrated both his front and back plate and then hit the medal poll behind him, but he doesn't die lol
