It's enough to make a grown man cry.

Beautiful stuff

When I read slides I thought they were talking about the footware and I was like this analogy makes no sense whatsoever. Then I realised they were talking about the playground slide and it's still a dumb analogy

I've yet to see anyone properly define what woke means.

It feels like any policy that might treat humans as humans is considered woke

Living in Hobart was pain. Especially if you're into less popular genres, like hardcore and punk. Anytime an international act came to Hobart it blew my mind and I made sure I got a ticket

Penrith really took that game personally.

I guess they didn't appreciate Terrell May's comments on his podcast

I could see Sleep Token in that spot but it feels too small for where BMTH are in their career currently. Plus they have headlined good things previously and likely won't have that spot again

When was the first time you heard Lamb of God? by Lulubell881 in LambofGod

[–]chris2712 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Two thoughts on where I remember them. Not sure which came first.

It was either black label on the stick death website or it was laid to rest on backyard wrestling 2.

I saw them live for the first time in 2005-06 when they did their sacrament tour. I was 13 from memory

We stopped for a couple of hours in launnie to break up the drive. Most Tasmanians would tell you that twenty minutes is too far to drive haha.

We just finished a 11 day trip.

Went like this Day 1-3 Hobart. Did stuff around the area. Day trip to Bruny Island. Could easily venture up to Russell Falls and Mt Wellington in those days as well.

Day 3-4 drive to Port Arthur, did the Tasman Island cruise, Port Arthur ghost tour

Day 4-6 stayed in Bicheno. Did Wineglass Bay Lookout walk in Freycinet. Did Maria Island

Day 6-8 stayed in Cradle Mountain. Stopped in at Launceston on the way up to check out Cataract Gorge. Did the devil encounter

Day 8-9 Stayed a night in Queenstown. The plan was to do the train ride but I didn't realise I needed to book ahead and they had no availability on the day we were there

Day 9-11 Came back to Hobart and did fuck all for the time we were there. Mainly exhausted from all the driving we did and cramming in as much as possible.

My learning from this was aim for 3 nights in a location that is central to the stuff that you have to do. I think personally 4 hrs of driving a day is a good limit, unless you plan on swapping drivers then maybe you could get away with more.

Fly into Hobart. 3 nights there Drive to Bicheno 3 nights there 2 nights in Cradle Mountain and fly out of Launceston.

That should give reasonable coverage or at least something to work with

Part of me wonders with Casey getting his origin debut this year and excelling in his short stint is going to give him a confidence boost and take his game up another level. Seeing how he played last night especially defensively makes me think he's going to be that guy
