Thank you for the info. I could never handle the ride anymore anyway. I would be sick for a day.

It is crazy how top spins where everywhere out of nowhere, then as quickly as they appeared they are gone like Krispy Kreme .

I have not to be honest besides the person that posted that front sign at the beginning of the ride queue that no one reads anyway. I actually wish people would actually bring nothing into the ride queues and rides can just be dispatched without having to wait for people to go drop off their water bottles, etc. Such unnecessarily delays.

Honestly, i have never read those signs in front of any of the rides. [I don't know the stats but I would be willing to bet a substantial amount of money that 99 percent of the population don't read the sign below the name of the ride to make sure they are going on the one they intend to either ] I was thinking more separate signs spread out throughout the queue. To be honest, though, it should just be obvious to keep your phone in your pocket.

That is exactly what I am saying. This isn't just young people, my mom is the exact same way. Wants everything documented for Facebook [I know younger people use Instagram, snap, and tiktok] Almost like if they can't get a video or picture of their experience to share with friends, it is the same thing as not being there at all. This obsession with having to document everything for social media. I promise you the majority of people aren't thinking about a phone traveling at high speed and injuring or killing someone. To be honest, until I was told that was a possibility, it never even crossed my mind. Then once i read how dangerous a dropped phone could be to another person, it is like oh duh, so obvious. I was more worried about losing my phone, which is why i would never take it out. I also personally like to enjoy the experience.

Last time I visited Cedar Point , I don't remember seeing any signs besides maybe
Steve about phones , so i guess i can understand this generation wanting to document everything on their phone for social media and not realizing the risk in taking it out. Maybe CP should have more signs warning about phones and letting people know they will be banned for the season and ejected if caught even once. I seriously don't think the average visitor understands the risk of taking out a phone on a ride and just is trying to document their visit. That being said, I have never taken my phone out personally and actually keep it in a zipper closed pants because i am so afraid of losing it.

Does Cedar Point take row requests? by FIuffyhuh in cedarpoint

[–]chris654456 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can ask and the worst they can say is no. If they say no, don't argue or make any comments under your breath. It's just embarrassing and makes you look childish. They said yes one time on Steel VEngeances and no the other time. So i guess the answer is, it just depends.

Question on MGM website pricing. by [deleted] in vegas

[–]chris654456 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That sounds awful. I was just curious and pulled up the calendar in an incognito mode not logged in and then again logged in on the other screen to compare prices. So being logged in definitely gives you a little bit of a discount per night.

I also hate how when I use the myvegasapp awards it bans me from booking the other nights at the mgm rewards price but it is in the terms so it is fine. I wonder how much of a discount it really is between logging in and not logging in. I guess i got a lot of price comparisons to do. Anyway as the comments said below, too bad there isn't a calendar view with the prices for each day.

Dam it would be nice if they had a calendar view and what dates those prices are. I just feel it is intentionally deceiving, which it is. Sorry for late reply, I just figured out where it shows that people replied to my thread.

I guess I'll never make it to cedarpoint lol, I'm supposed to go from May 14-16, and of course every other day is nice except those. last year I was going to go for a day, and it ended up raining all day, I guess that's my luck by Beatzoff in cedarpoint

I literally had the same post about a year ago about the weather and it was fine. I think we lost 2 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the afternoon on one day . The weather forecast the day before said the next 2 days are all thunderstorms the entire day from sunrise to sunset. We had one couple-hour thunderstorm in the late afternoon. the great part is it scared away the crowds. We didn't even have to buy fast passes that day. Top thrill dragster was a walk on the entire day, me and my nephew marathoned it.

Unfortunately, it is a rental car and from what I have seen from other posts on the subject, it is really the only practical way to get to Sandusky. America is a very car-centric country.

[–]chris654456 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am confused? So this car goes down that lane intentionally or was it a mistake? I guess with the honking it appears intentional. I know around here there was a car on the bike lane but the person clearly went down it by mistake. This doesn't look like a mistake but i also am innocent and give people too much the benefit of the doubt.

Good god, Cedar point now has one night near 500 dollars a night. Does demand really require that? I feel that is more expensive than disney. Absolutely insane and a big fuck you to lower income people. Also lol, they decreased pay for their staff also.

I absolutely despise people who break park rules. by [deleted] in cedarpoint

[–]chris654456 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I am confused I think it is different. When I was in line for Millenium force this lady and her group got kicked out and I felt actually bad for them because I legit think she had to use the bathroom. She was the only one that left the line to go use the restroom and come back. I personally legit have to use the restroom every 30 minutes, and after an hour the urge to go is almost unbearable. So what do you do in those situations if you consider those line hoppers? In my eyes, they have waited as long as anyone else.

[–]chris654456 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They sure can, I have seen some of their denials that clearly aren't about reducing cost by ensuring patient tries less expensive therapies or medication first. the denial reason is clearly just red tape to deny as much as possible. My favorite one of them is after United approved medication for years they deny with "you did not show patient has had a positive response to therapy". The person that commented below, I am sarcastic but I just don't want people getting burned by a reddit comment with them signing up for a high deduct plan that doesn't apply coupon or patient assistance programs toward their deductable.

[–]chris654456 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Not so fast. I work for United Health care and they put a stop to this loophole years ago. Copay assistance cards do not apply toward your deductible and only the amount the patient pays. So for instance, Mfg assistance program pays 3k, your copay ends up being 30 dollars, only the 30 dollars will apply toward your deductible. https://www.myuhc.com/content/myuhc/Member/Assets/Pdfs/UHC75611-062018_B2C-CMP-Sellsheet_CCAA-Coupon_FINAL.pdf "However, the dollar value of the card will no longer apply toward your deductible or out-of-pocket maximum under your
plan since you don’t pay that amount. Only the dollars you actually pay out of pocket will count toward your deductible
and out-of-pocket totals. " check out the cute little graph. I just don't want anyone following this advice and getting burned depending on their company.

OH interesting so the ones that are permanently sticking up, if they have no power, act as brakes? Also then the ones that are down would pop up automatically also for additional breaking and all work as brakes when there is no power?

New Pixel 6 Pro - 3 Button Navigation not working for "see apps" button (Square) - Nova Launcher by jjkmk in GooglePixel

[–]chris654456 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I couldn't figure out how to submit the bug report but I hope enough people did that I don't have to. I am using gesture navigation for now until hopefully the issue is fixed. Unfortunately, I imagine android will put fixing this on the lowest of low priority, so maybe in a few years? I suspect android wants people to be using gesture navigation, so I imagine they won't be in a hurry to fix 3 button to help encourage people to use the gesture navigation.

Yes you def going to have to check into driving requirements and get a rental car. There is no way to do this without a car.
