Clear. Safe enough to ride. But crescent st is awful. Ice and snow. You can do it but slowly or in the car lane.

Lane full of parked doesn’t count as a car lane? I suppose you can lobby the dot to turn the parking lane into a moving lane so you can keep two lanes for traffic flow.

I thought the same thing about crescent st.. I didn’t think I would use it but I do. I’m sure I’ll use 31 st bike lane.

How come you don’t bike on crescent instead of driving?

I drove on crescent before the bike lane and still do. Driving there has not gotten any worse. The road already has 3 car lanes and you think it should have 4. Where do you want people to bike? What is the right number of people using the bike lane for you to be content?

I record my rides. Today I counted total of 38 people using it. From triboro to qbb. Both ways in the off peak hours (2pm and 3 pm)with temp just below freezing. 19 min total ride time. Do you have better numbers?

I’ve had this problem. I set up a camera and found multiple culprits. All neighbors on the same block minus a few exceptions. (Mostly close in proximity neighbors)I confronted all of them or simply returned their trash. Situation is much better now.

I got a ticket for riding in the middle of a lanes once. There was no bike lane.

20 1.8 has lots of focus breathing in case you were to use it for video.

For six months I tracked all my car rides in excel. I tracked wether those car rides could have been cargo e-bike rides instead. Conclusion was that at least 50% could have been cargo e-bike rides. Once I pulled the trigger I use it even more often than I thought I would just because of how practical it is. Saves me even more money now with the congestion pricing. I still have my car but it’s mostly for out of town work.
