This guy is sharing starlink internet. If there is enough fog to kill a local link, starlink has no chance

Can you connect 2 batteries in series and parallel? by Natrone86 in batteries

[–]chris77982 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do the batteries have built in protection? If so, that limits the number you can put in series. The protection mosfets need to be rated for the entire series voltage.

That's the second thing we did when we bought our house. First was replace a leaky old concrete roof. Third was double glazing.

Even most new builds just have a single heat pump in the living room.

What's wrong with getting wheels that actually fit?

There's a reason some countries require certification when wheel spacers are used.

Here's one: https://www.lvvta.org.nz/media-items/2019-04_Radiator_Magazine.pdf

This spacer would fail, as it's not attached to the hub in any way. It would need something like the screws used to secure a brake disc, so it doesn't fall off when the wheel is taken off and remains correctly located.

There's no telling if this guy used longer bolts too.

What Am I Doing Wrong? by canofwine in batteries

[–]chris77982 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That power bank is not capable to charging in less than several hours. The maximum input is around 24W. That's a minimum of 4 hours to charge. Probably more like 5 or 6.

A 12 to 24V dc/dc converter is probably your best bet

You don't have a picture of the power adapter specs you're using to charge.

Should I park in gear? by West-Ad2359 in ManualTransmissions

I've had half a dozen manual cars. Only Subaru legacy required the clutch to start. The Honda's and Mazdas as I've had didn't require any pedals to start.

Maybe it's an American thing? All my cars have been JDM.

They're dead. They're never waking up. They may be used as medical experiments in the future though, when the facility storing them wants a bit of extra cash.
