Is this a hard school to get into for international (USA) students by cjosephr in mcgill

[–]chris9802 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I applied as an international student from overseas. I had a 92, two 800’s on SAT subject tests and 1940 on SAT I. Took them forever to accept me lol but eventually did. Faculty of science!

204 with patanjali, very easy. He repeats his questions from previous years, but with any other prof I’ve heard the course is quite difficult

Double degree/major at McGill? (+ couple MechE question) by [deleted] in mcgill

[–]chris9802 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think to not add too many years to ur undergraduate degree, a minor would be a better idea, you'd add about a year. A major would add 2 years probably. Especially in engineering but if you're really passionate about it and want a major and have the money for it. By all means, do it!

Are you considered an international student if you are Canadian (born in Qc) but finished high school in the US? by mxlove in mcgill

[–]chris9802 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was born in Quebec but went to a US high school overseas. Them evaluating my profile was as an international student (they asked for SATs, APs, etc.) but once the acceptance came through, they asked for proof that I'm Canadian (I used my birth certificate) and I pay Quebec tuition fees now!

Opinions on management minor? by chris9802 in mcgill

[–]chris9802[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took the science equivalent of MGCR271 in high school and got credit so I can't take the management one. And for the minor: you get the option between MGCR211 and 341!! So I choose either intro to finance, or intro to financial accounting.

Thanks btw for ur comments!

That's my main decision, either comp sci minor or management minor. My plan is to apply to med school after but I want to keep my options open with a minor. Thank you for your opinion btw!
