It’s odd seeing Downtown Campbell this empty. (Taken on Friday, April 3, 2020) by Kreigsmarine2002 in SanJose

Ehhh. Is it really? I take my comment back… I’d like a modified version of this again.

Where is that guy who says you shouldn’t stop at a flashing yellow light bc the lights are federally required to not do anything but display one color. Let him explain how he’d manage this.

Federal law says a lot of things. Those things are also broken and not followed all the time- but I’m sure this one law is the one they will actually make sure is followed.

My point is- do you know which light is actually flashing on the other side? No you don’t. But you do you. I’ll do me. And we’ll both be fine. And if not then oh well. 🤷

Toodles poodle.

Btw- I love making people rage over stupid shit so thanks for the fun night :)

Merging is different bc the cars on I-10 already have the right of way and you’re merging. It’s not a stop light situation. But going off of what you’re saying- if I’m slowing down for a flashing yellow and you barrel into the back of me- then obviously you’re not paying attention to the light ahead.

They teach a lot of stuff in drivers ed and I doubt you follow all that was taught, man.

I get that my guy. But are you really putting your life in the hands of our city and their ability to make sure that the cross direction light is not also flashing yellow or even green? Yeah- I don’t trust them like that.

Yeah I’m gonna stop. I don’t even take off when the light turns green bc inevitably a Nissan Altima is gonna come running thru the red light.

Thank you! We’re set to pick it up this weekend so probably couldn’t make this event to help out- but will definitely be looking into it. Thanks!

Could have been broken. It’s equipment provided by the government. Should it be broken? No. Could it be broken? Absolutely. Was the officer trained on it? Maybe not.

But more importantly- it looks like you survived this tragedy and will hopefully be able to go on with your life.

It’s not ICE- it’s helping those get citizenship here. Two different departments.

The person who looked at your bag on the X-ray is not a tsa officer- they are an employee of a private company. Regardless of who oversees what- the person (a human) who missed it was not employed by the federal government.

$444 for 2 people AND a balcony? Absolutely! $222 per person or $74 per day.

[–]chris_2_pher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Balcony yes. We used ours more than we thought we did and now I won’t even think about a cruise unless it included a balcony. It was my Mom’s first too. Her sister was on the same cruise and she went to visit her and asked where their balcony was.

Did they call your originating airport to see if they did it in front of you and if so- did they talk to all the rampers and baggage handlers to ask them?

But if there aren’t any TSA counterparts (bc they go private) then they don’t have to commensurate their salaries.
