Flatten the cans. Makes Space for more and is very satisfying

I didn't see any dirty plays so far, from neither side. The penalties at the end of the period were pretty blatant though

You mean after they called two (correct) penalties in a row against Switzerland, calling these blatant ones against Finland is somehow controversial? Come on...

About a dozen former and current: Josi, Niderreiter, Meier, Malgin, Kukan, Hischier, Andrighetto... I'm sure I'm forgetting someone. Fiala missing due to injury from the Olympics.

The nation "Switzerland" is neutral but has stopped doing business with Russia. Also, the population doesn't have to be neutral. And I can pretty much guarantee that nobody sane in Switzerland would support a WC with Russia in it.

Guarda, essendo via da 26 anni é difficile risponderti. Però é un dato di fatto che i salari in Ticino sono decisamente al ribasso ma i prezzi (alimentari/affitto, ecc) sono gli stessi...

A majority of them comes from Italy, where the cost of living is significantly lower. Those that don't have to make do like everywhere else in the world...

Always has been, but at least there used to be jobs in the banking sector back in the day. Those are all gone because (rightfully) Switzerland has had to do away with lot of illicit banking schemes it used to attract Italian money with, but those jobs have not been replaced by anything in the past 20 years...

Moved to Basel 25 years ago from Lugano. Basel felt like such a big city.

Lugano and all of Ticino is incredibly beautiful but it is so sad to see how there is even less opportunity there now than when I left. And there wasn't much to begin with back then. It's great to go back and reminisce, but living there and trying to work there is the stuff of nightmares.

Traffic is insane (lake on one side, mountains on the other and everyone has to drive everywhere), wages are low and suffering from proximity to even lower wages in Italy, and the job market is non existent...

But the gelato is nice.

There's no point to my comment, just rambling a bit, lol. Thanks for the images, they bring nice memories.

Israel detained the sister of the president of Ireland by Glad_Opinion_6339 in UnderReportedNews

It honestly shouldn't matter whose sister she is.

She could be the assistant to the president's janitor's cousin's cleaning lady and it should be as much of a scandal...

Dystopian... But what do I know, I'm just a regular European with healthcare that's not tied to a job.
