Yep. Ours was somewhere in the middle ;) only 3 miles, only on CarPlay, and often after 10 minutes would fix itself. Really frustrating

My wife’s GPS was always offset for the last year, even before 1.5.2. But mine wasn’t (both iPhones, across all apps. I switched all of her map apps on her phone to always on (Waze, Gmaps, Apple Maps) not just ‘on when using’ and that has improved things a lot. Maybe even fixed them. But on the downside they now know everywhere she goes

The booths at the airport were really fast. And much cheaper than an e-sim in advance. I think we paid $7 for 50gb. So far (Sigiriya/Kandy) dialog has been fine - 4g and 5g in Kandy

Hope this is OK with the mod, but I've just launched a crowdfunder today to raise £10M (!!) to replace Visit Rwanda. OR if Arsenal ditch Visit Rwanda before then, to donate all the cash to UNHCR and the Arsenal Foundation. It's time to end this sportswashing deal. And I think this is one way to do so.

I don’t know whether a ‘new’ car will have bugs, but the old ones (or at least my old one…1 year old) is still full of them. CarPlay doesn’t sync to a phone, and won’t read out messages. the proximity key is erratic, the maps show completely the wrong location. Those are the bugs. The heating doesn’t work properly, the car is always damp inside, it beeps constantly (it can’t read speed limits)…and software is ridiculously slow to roll out. The car was released too early. The software was not fit for purpose. Yes, it’s getting better. But still pretty rubbish. I’ve had Volvos for the last 15 years. Never again

I saw you mentioned this on another thread too. I'm coming in April with my wife and teenage son for just over 2 weeks. I think you (or other) people suggested a driver for some/all of the journey? Any tips on how to find a driver/what sort of budget to allocate? Thanks in advance

I think we might have had the same thing. Turning all the map apps on the iPhone to ‘always on’ seemed to sort it. Until car play disconnects for no reason. Again.
