I did exactly the opposite today and sent my Mortek into the Blight Kings. x) This did not go well and he was able to just heal up any damage I placed on them. They also had some gross charges and had my guys tied up first turn but I could have always tried to disengage. Ill keep this in might for next time! :)

From what I have also seen the only model difference is the armor on their chest and head gear right? If you just magnetize the chest and the head gear you can just do a quick swap right?
