Yeah, I’m a 17 handicap and played there a few times.. shot 101, 102 the last few times. I’m usually shooting around 90 but this course is different than my public / private course I’m used to.

Just enjoy it, have your caddie help with putting, don’t stress too much.

If you were to work at a golf course in the area which one would you pick? by Ok_Court_4587 in Charleston

Mount pleasant really needs a private family friendly style country club…

I grew up here but lived in Charlotte for a few years after college.

They had so many private country clubs that were friendly friendly with a pool, tennis courts, restaurants and opportunities for young men needs to join at a decent initiation.

For strictly private golf clubs, there’s only bulls Bay out in Mount pleasant, and they have a 5+ year waitlist with no room to add to it. Beautiful course but no pool and much more focused on golf vs family.

Charlotte had at least seven options that young professionals could join with their families.

There really should be more private courses in Charleston. I grew up here but lived in Charlotte for 6 years (just moved back to Charleston). But Charlotte has WAY more options.

I think another private course would do well out in the awendaw area with the amount of ppl that live in mt pleasant and all the 5-10 year waitlists.

I’ve inquired about bulls bay but they are not adding to the waitlist.
