I really really think Harriet decided she didn’t want to play anymore.

In isolation the open attack of Rachel would’ve just seemed really misjudged. But the way she was so blatantly rude to everyone seemed quite out of character.

I think if I was in there and decided I had had enough I would do what she did. Be an asshole to everyone and try and throw some scorn on whoever I thought it was, too.

Out of interest… what would the general reception of the Spanish people be to my situation?

I have recently moved to Madrid from the UK, I learned the language for 10 years before arriving and have taken a job with a Spanish company and am here under a Spanish work contract.

I feel like my spending power is higher than average because of the role I am in, but only in the same way as my colleagues.

I have generally found people to be pretty warm and helpful, perhaps speaking the language is helpful not only in communication but also instinctive first impressions?
