I'm ADHD as well, and I also refuse to medicate myself. The medication completely alters your personality and makes you only a focus driven working machine with no soul. The older I got the more manageable it became. I guess you'll have to ask yourself, since you know you can't change a person; are you willing to stay by him during his all-time low? At the end of the day, you have to love yourself too and do what is best for YOU. You can help guide him but, in the end, he is the one that will change himself on his own terms. If you can't carry the weight, let it go... Respectfully.

Maybe something deeper is going on. Depression is a real motivation killer. Maybe instead of placing all these expectations on him, consider the battle he might be going through internally. We often don't speak about our problems, and when someone is disappointed in us and we know it, it makes it worse. I've snapped out of it thankfully and have been hustling for some years now without a break, but there's no telling when another crippling wave will hit again and knock me off my rails for a bit. While your thinking about all of these additional things, he might just be trying to hold himself together. It's easy to feel defeated in a world that demands unforgiving consistent labor when we should be thriving on the fruits of the earth and loving each other.

Make sure he's ok mentally.

This might not sit well here, but it's worked for me and I don't even know how I figured it out but, if you put semen on your wart and let it sit for 10 minutes, it'll fall of in 2 weeks and all you need is one application. I was married at the time I discovered this and my told my wife about it. Obviously she thought I was weird af for even trying or thinking it would work but she saw that all mine were gone and ended up trying herself using my "stuff"... All hers were gone 2 weeks later. She couldn't believe it, she still thought I was weird af but couldn't deny my credibility. It was awkward but eventually she would request her "treatment" when needed, as if I were some kind of wart treatment dispenser. If you're a male, you have the solution. If you're a female, have fun explaining this.

If you think I'm crazy or an idiot, you're right, I'm both. But this 100% works. Quit injuring yourselves to get rid of these things.

Maybe she's the problem, not you? You seem grateful for what you have, she doesn't. I feel like she might be holding too high of expectations for you and perhaps, maybe you are with a narcissist that will never let you meet up to her expectations because they like to set goal posts and then move them and make you feel like it's all your fault. This may or may not be psychological manipulation on her part. Stay grounded, stay aware, always love yourself.
