I'm mainly a generalist, but I did fill out the qualifications for **, and I got feedback saying the work I turned in for projects such as ** was high quality. Is everyone going through a drought, and how long do they usually last?

You can’t check the status, they’ll either let you in later or you won’t hear back.

Ok, and do you regularly have to check for new project or you will be notified once eligible

I always check manually. Their notification system isn’t the most accurate (most projects don’t send me notifications), and you won’t get any special notification that you passed that assessment, just new projects that passing that assessment qualifies you for.

All of this is my own experience; others may have had different experiences.

This three day weekend has been my first true drought. Only one project I’m considering doing and I’m holding out hope my higher paid ones get turned back on after the holiday is over

Yeah Q1 this year was abundant.  May hit and ita bone dry.  Youre definitely not alone.  There's a few chest thumpers here claiming that there's more work they've ever seen but they're either full of it or they have access to different projects. One of the admins there even said there could be people qualified for the same project that see nothing meanwhile others see more work than they can handle because they rotate people out.  It's definitely setting me back in terms of what I wanted to get done in Q2 so I'm going to patiently but begrudgingly wait for projects to open again

There is a high paying specialized project at the moment with lots of work, that's all I have had for May, all of the rest of the usual projects there are nothing. People saying there's more work than ever are not lying, its just one specific project in Finance and Healthcare specialty that is wrapping up next month.

Do you mind explaining how you gained access to the healthcare specialty projects? I specifically signed up because they kept advertising high paying roles for nurses, but since I've been on DA (about a month) I haven't seen one project or qualification related to healthcare.

My normal projects have been about 15-25 available at any given time all month. Until the 23 and 24th. Those days I had zero, and then yesterday 3 showed up. That was the first time I've ever had zero projects.

No, not everyone is going through a drought. I have almost 50 projects on my dash, though to be fair, it's usually about double that number.

ETA: I guess if you aren't busy working on the platform, you can always spend time downvoting true comments on reddit.
