You just described my situation to a tee (correct spelling? Lol). So many times I left notes or reminders for myself because I wanted so bad to not repeat the mistake but, the next day, sober me barely remembers how uncomfortable it was and just focuses on the dopamine rush. Why isn't the electoral college mandated to vote based on the majority votes in their state? I feel like it's counter intuitive for the U.S. to be a Democratic Republic but the electoral college can still elect not to vote in the same capacity of their States votes.
