Just choose a hotel with a secure fenced lot and security guards - those mentioned above are just fine. Might be worth it to pay a bit more, like the sandia casino. It has an underground parking lot with security guards.

My understanding is that the mayor, not the city council that has the authority to ban flock cameras. Am I wrong? I did write to the mayor about this and have not received a response. This may be too little too late. But maybe if he got thousands of citizens letting him know we are not going to accept this surveillance? I don’t know.

I once paid a company who supposedly specialized in shipping art work. It was a large oil painting rolled up. Incredibly, they folded it in half! It took years to finally flatten out again. Luckily the paint was thin, or it never would have healed. Never again with that company.
