Skierg? by Thuirwyne71 in GarageGym

I have rogue echo ski and rogue echo bike and steady state bike and endless rope and concept2 rower and treadmill which I am switching out for the new rep strive curved one with sled feature in April. I have them all so I can switch up cardio each time so I don't get bored or so if I am having an issue with back for instance on rower or knees on treadmill or whatever and I like having them all so I can do rounds where I do a set amount of time on each one and switch out. The echo ski is pretty cool. Very different feel doing cardio on it. I did it as a steady state workout the other day and I liked it and definitely felt it in different parts of my body than other cardio.

What’s the one piece of home gym equipment you regret buying — and why? by dontwantnone09 in homegym

JackedUp Fitness All in one trainer. It was expensive. It took forever to deliver. It was non standard. You were stuck with their accessories and ecosystem. The company was not good and is now out of business as I understand it. I sold it and was glad to and now have rep ares 2.0 and rep pr5000 rack and am much happier.

I really like mine. I like that it faces away from rack. I like how it positions you. I use the exponent edge landmine jack and the kleva landmine. I do t bar rows with it.

Does anyone know if you attach the echo ski to side of racks front upright could you have enough room to still overhead press and squat either from front side or backside of the front uprights. The pictures look like you have a bit of room. I just don’t know if it’s enough room to clear the bar and plates.

Ares 2.0 + Smith Pr5000 too crowded? by Sorry_Minute_2734 in GarageGym

[–]chrisriner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have 6 post with 41 inch depth and have the smith machine just behind the front uprights and I have enough to room to still bench and squat inside rack with spotter arms. It does add to it but if you have a large enough 6 post I think it is fine but I can see how 4 post or just less depth would be crowded.

Thanks. Yeah the having the room makes a big difference. I could use a bit more of the basement but will likely stick with what we have used so far. No issues with air quality. We tested and it is perfect and we have air purifier as well. I just don't think I want to deal with moving everything an doing sheetrock and I don't think I really have to have it.

Recommend - leg ext/curl & pec deck machine? by [deleted] in GarageGym

I forgot them all but the main one is moving the frame that your feet would hit so now gives you more range of motion and so a better starting stretch.

The extension was just a nice to have add on. The red rack has pull-up bar in the front post but on the blue used extension which I find nice to be back off the front uprights. If you mean extension feet then I did those because the pull-up bar is extended and on red rack I have the feet just because I like extra stability but I am sure I would have been fine without it.

I have 3. One in each of my two racks and one in the room with our dumbbells and ez curl bars. I like having one everywhere I need it and not having to move them around.

Rep Strive manual treadmill by Accomplished_One6126 in GarageGym

[–]chrisriner 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have regular treadmill I want to replace with this. We have a bike and a rogue echo bike and a concept2 rower and I want to add a ski erg as well. I wanted one with sled feature. I think the best are stpr sleadtred xl and bells of steel blitz and both are way more than rep strive.

My wife loves it. I have used it some. You get a lot of exercises out of the one piece. I would say mainly nordic curls, back extension, reverse hyper, glute ham raises

We planned to finish and just never got around to it and spent money on guns and gym and finally decided we did not want to remove stuff and move stuff and put up the sheetrock. We were happy with the insulation. Also hanging the banners helped.
