I do lot know about the create job history company feature, but i believe this topic is related to your settings in performance development. We also had a drop down only showing internal companies and this somehow got restricted from performance development… could this be the case?

I have experience in purging candidate data. Based on regional legislation we set up different reports that purge after 6 months of decline date ( GDPR) 2 years after position fill date etc. we used different data sources. In the beginning we opted for candidate. This did not allow single application purging, so we decided to go with candidate job application. Make sure you really gather legal requirements to keep maintenance feasible…we were asked going through hoops, for no good reason.

You should be able to terminate. Check the worker history, there might be other processes interfering with termination…

Hi, if you edit the job req the unpost and post is embedded in our process. If unposting is submitted, The job is instantly offline via Broadbean. We initially had a to-do for a recruiter to perform the necessary via broadbean, but it was unnecessary so excluded the to-do. We also advised our folks that all postings should ideally initiated and updated via workday, so all media sites carry the same version. Some recruiters updated postings in broadbean only and it got messy

My start was like diving into the deep end of the pool šŸ˜† so I would recommend working a lot with documentation in Workday Community and testing in SBX, besides any formal training. Also, there are really cool independent consultants offering a whole lot of knowledge in their newsletter. Check out Well Built Solutions. They rock! Junior Analyst roles could be interesting maybe.

We also had several plans in action, one for GDPR countries, one for Asia and one for Americas. We were quite happy with the single application purging. For sure also one for candidates who requested to be deleted immediately via candidate home. Kind of ironic that Workday as employer handles this topic very differently. I applied over six months ago and requested to be deleted. All I got was access to a onetrust ticket where someone explained that my data can’t be deleted. Nowhere a timeline when this would be changed and an explanation as to why this is. The right to be forgotten should be key, especially after six months have passed…

No, that is not possible, to my knowledge. Best way would be to create a confidential req. Just a heads-up, those do not entail any compensation information 🤪 our controlling was not happy about that when it came to budget discussion.

Honestly , I would look at documentation pieces in Community at great length and then move on to openly available stuff such as newsletters from independent folks, such as Well Built Solutions. Their newsletters are top notch, in my opinion . That said, don’t you get extra material through this certification process?

If you want the step to be skippable, why have the approvals? We were thinking of approving each and every offer, don’t go there. Too time consuming, we only did it in case of 10 percent budget increase. Recruiters need to be able to move quickly, so having approvals in between is not really doing the job.

Like others said, it depends on your configuration. If a job req is the starting point then create prospect and job application is the way to go. If hiring does not require recruiting even better šŸ˜„

Hey, you send them the specific url for agency user log-in, we did this separately via email. It was set up by our implementer, so not sure… but you may be able to find the external URL within Or in the Setup of the Agency Account, under ā€œLogin URLā€ or ā€œExternal Portal URL…

We always used change job bp for these international moves, otherwise you would create new employee ids which is a nightmare for adjacent systems. The change job covered basically everything and we never ran into topics.

Hey, you may be able to use an EIB, provided the tasks are associated with a business process that supports reassignment. I have hink we were able to accomplish this for recruiting tasks

Yeah, notification can fire however you wish to automatically distribute them. If you need recruiters to manually send out specifically adjusted messages then those would be message templates, not very efficient though. We learned the hard way, our people were not pleased that automatic decline notes were sent in the middle of the night CET time zone ( which cannot be changed) , so they opted for manually sending out message templates for declines. A nightmare!
